, after the NTC refused to renew the network's franchise license earlier in February 2020. The franchise license expired on May 4, 2020, and a day later, ABS-CBN officially signed off in the evening. On July 10, 2020, the House Committee of 18th Congress rejected the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN.
