Blue Blink
is a fantasy adventure anime series created by Osamu Tezuka. The anime is based from classic film Konjok-gorbunok by Ivan Ivanov-Vano. The film in turn is based from Pyotr Pavlovich Yershov's The Little Humpbacked Horse. This was Tezuka's last anime series. Osamu Tezuka died while this series was in production. The studio completed the production according to his plans. The show was streamed at Anime Sols, but was removed, because it did not meet its goal of crowd-funding for DVD. It is currently only available for legal streaming at Viki.com. Story The story opens with the meeting between the hero, Kakeru, and a mystical pony named Blink. Kakeru saves Blink from a thunder shower and in gratitude, Blink tells him that if he is ever in trouble, all Kakeru needs to do is call out his name three times and he will appear. is a Japanese actor and voice actor from Fukuoka Prefecture. ''The Little Humpbacked Horse, or The Tsar Maiden'' (a.k.a. ''Konyok Gorbunok ili Tsar-Devitsa'', or ''Le Petit cheval bossu, ou La Tsar-Demoiselle'') is a ballet in four acts and eight scenes with apotheosis. Story of the ballet The libretto is by Arthur Saint-Léon, based on the fairy tale ''The Little Humpbacked Horse'' by Pyotr Yershov. However, the choreographer substantially deviated from Yershov's original tale. The ballet shows how Ivan the fool, with the aid of a magical horse, defeats an evil Khan and wins the hand of the Tsar- Maiden. Eventually Ivan replaces the ineffective and incompetent Tsar and becomes Tsar himself. Choreography of Saint-Léon The original choreography was created by Arthur Saint-Léon and was set to music by Cesare Pugni. Shinobu Nakayama
is an actress and a former J-pop singer. The younger sister of singer and actress Miho Nakayama, she released her first single on 2 November 1988; her final release as a J-pop artist was on 1 March 1991.
