Sungkyunkwan Scandal
''Sungkyunkwan Scandal'' () is a South Korean historical drama starring Park Yoo-chun, Park Min-young, Song Joong-ki, and Yoo Ah-in. Directed by Kim Won-seok and written by Kim Tae-hee, it is based on Jung Eun-gwol's bestselling 2007 novel '' The Lives of Sungkyunkwan Confucian Scholars''. It aired on KBS2 from August 30 to November 2, 2010 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes. Synopsis Set during an era when society does not allow females to be educated nor employed, Kim Yoon-hee (Park Min-young) disguises herself as her brother, Kim Yoon-shik, in order to make ends meet for her family. Jun Tae-soo
Jun Tae-soo (; March 2, 1984 – January 21, 2018) was a South Korean actor. He was best known for his role on the popular 2010 television series ''Sungkyunkwan Scandal''. Biography Jun Tae-soo was born on March 2, 1984 in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. His older sister is acclaimed South Korean actress Ha Ji-won. He studied sculpture at Seowon University. Jun made his acting debut in 2007 and later gained popularity playing the antagonist on the hit 2010 television series ''Sungkyunkwan Scandal.'' He appeared next in the sitcom ''All My Love For You,'' but left the series in 2011 after being arrested for assaulting a taxi driver and two policemen while he was under the influence of alcohol. His last acting role was on the 2013 television series ''The King's Daughter, Soo Baek-hyang.'' Jun died at his home on January 21, 2018, of an apparent suicide. Yeonguijeong
''Yeonguijeong'' () was a title created in 1400, during the Joseon Kingdom and the Korean Empire times (1392–1910) and given to the Chief State Councillor as the highest government position of "Uijeongbu" (State Council). Existing for over 500 years, the function was handed over in 1895 during the Gabo Reform to the newly formed position of Prime Minister of Korea. Only one official at a time was appointed to the position and though was generally called ''Yeongsang'', was also referred to as ''Sangsang'', ''Sugyu'' or ''Wonbo''. Chae Jegong (12 May 1720 – 22 February 1799) was a noted scholar, writer, politician of the Joseon period of Korea. He passed the regional civil examination (향시) at the age of 15, and held high government offices throughout his life, the Yeonguijeong position (i.e. Chief State Councilor) among them. Six Ministries Of Joseon
The Six Ministries of Joseon were the major executive bodies of the Korean Joseon Dynasty. They included ministries of Personnel (''Ijo''), Taxation (''Hojo''), Rites (''Yejo''), Military Affairs (''Byeongjo''), Punishments (''Hyeongjo''), and Public works (''Gongjo''). History It was established in 1298. The ministries system of Joseon was similar in outline to that of the preceding Goryeo dynasty, but in practice, it had a big difference. While Goryeo had a ministrative policy where the King had the central power, in Joseon, the scholars and bureaucrats had greater control. The ministries were much more powerful under Joseon, and their importance grew as the dynasty wore on. Jwauijeong
The ''Jwauijeong'' was the Second State Councillor of the Uijeongbu (State Council), subordinate in rank only to the Yeonguijeong, during the Joseon Dynasty of Korea (1392 -1910). Only one official was appointed to the position and was variously referred to as ''Jwasang'', ''Jwajeongseung'', ''Jwagyu'', ''Jwahap'', or ''Jwadae''. Since its foundation, the Joseon Dynasty, which had succeeded to the state apparatus of the Goryeo Dynasty (918 – 1392), had been adjusting its government organization. Jeong Yak-yong
Jeong Yak-yong (August 5, 1762 – April 7, 1836) or Chong Yagyong, often simply known as ‘Dasan’ (茶山, one of his ‘ho’ / pen-names meaning ‘the mountain of tea’), was a Korean agronomist, philosopher, and poet.
