F! (Philippine TV Program)
''F!'' was a Philippine weekly lifestyle magazine television program that aired on ABS-CBN from January 2, 1999, to February 26, 2006. It replaced ''Citiline'' and was replaced by ''Us Girls'', becoming the longest-running lifestyle show on the network. The program focused on fashion trends, dining spots, and social life, and was originally hosted by actress Angel Aquino, interior designer and model Daphne Oseña-Paez, and journalist Cher Calvin. The trio became known as the F Girls. However, when Calvin left the show for the United States, supermodel Amanda Griffin joined the cast. Lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviours, and behavioural orientations of an individual, group, or culture. The term was introduced by Austrian psychologist Alfred Adler in his 1929 book, ''The Case of Miss R.'', with the meaning of "a person's basic character as established early in childhood". The broader sense of lifestyle as a "way or style of living" has been documented since 1961. Lifestyle is a combination of determining intangible or tangible factors. Tangible factors relate specifically to demographic variables, i.e. an individual's demographic profile, whereas intangible factors concern the psychological aspects of an individual such as personal values, preferences, and outlooks. ''Us Girls'' was a weekly lifestyle magazine show in the Philippines hosted by Iya Villania, Cheska Garcia, and Angel Aquino, which airs every Thursday night on Studio 23. Garcia was later on replaced by Megan Young as a temporary host due to her pregnancy. It aired from March 5, 2006 to May 26, 2012, replacing '' F!''. This is a list of programs broadcast by ABS-CBN, a Philippine television network. The network is headquartered in ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Diliman, Quezon City. On May 5, 2020, ABS-CBN was issued a cease-and-desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida, after the NTC refused to renew the network's franchise license earlier in February 2020. The franchise license expired on May 4, 2020, and a day later, ABS-CBN officially signed off in the evening. On July 10, 2020, the House Committee of 18th Congress rejected the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. As a result, the network was forced to cease operations of some of its divisions and laid off its workers on August 31, 2020. For the 2009 fiscal year, which ended on June 30, Olay accounted for an estimated $2.8 billion of P&G's revenue. Early days Olay originated in South Africa as Oil of Olay. Graham Wulff (1916–2008), a former Unilever chemist from Durban, started it in 1952. He chose the name "Oil of Olay" as a spin on the word " lanolin", a key ingredient. It was unique in the early days because it was a pink fluid rather than a cream, packaged in a heavy glass bottle. Wulff and his marketing partner, Jack Lowe, a former copywriter, had tested the product on their wives and friends and were confident in its uniqueness and quality.
