Lifestyle (sociology)
Lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviours, and behavioural orientations of an individual, group, or culture. The term was introduced by Austrian psychologist Alfred Adler in his 1929 book, ''The Case of Miss R.'', with the meaning of "a person's basic character as established early in childhood". The broader sense of lifestyle as a "way or style of living" has been documented since 1961. Lifestyle is a combination of determining intangible or tangible factors. Tangible factors relate specifically to demographic variables, i.e. an individual's demographic profile, whereas intangible factors concern the psychological aspects of an individual such as personal values, preferences, and outlooks. A rural environment has different lifestyles compared to an urban metropolis. Location is important even within an urban scope. Loren Legarda
Lorna Regina "Loren" Bautista Legarda (born January 28, 1960) is a Filipina politician, environmentalist, cultural worker, and former journalist who is currently serving as a Senator and the president pro tempore of the Senate of the Philippines since 2022. She previously served three terms in the Senate from 1998 to 2004 and from 2007 to 2019. Legarda also held the post of the House Deputy Speaker during her three-year stint as the representative of Antique. She is the longest-serving female Senator in the history of the Senate, and the only female in the Philippines to top two senatorial elections: 1998 and 2007. The Inside Story (TV Program)
''The Inside Story'' is a Philippine public affairs show aired on ABS-CBN from July 10, 1990, to November 3, 1998, replacing ''PEP (People, Events and Places) Talk'' and was replaced by '' The Correspondents''. It airs every Tuesday. It was initially hosted by Loren Legarda, and later on by Julius Babao Cathy Yang and Mari Kaimo after Legarda she left the network after filing her candidacy as a Lakas-NUCD-UMDP senator and won with over 14 million votes. This is a list of programs broadcast by ABS-CBN, a Philippine television network. The network is headquartered in ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Diliman, Quezon City. On May 5, 2020, ABS-CBN was issued a cease-and-desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida, after the NTC refused to renew the network's franchise license earlier in February 2020. The franchise license expired on May 4, 2020, and a day later, ABS-CBN officially signed off in the evening. On July 10, 2020, the House Committee of 18th Congress rejected the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. As a result, the network was forced to cease operations of some of its divisions and laid off its workers on August 31, 2020.
