Kamen Rider Kuuga
is a Japanese tokusatsu television series. It is the tenth installment of the popular Kamen Rider Series of tokusatsu shows and the first of the series to air entirely in the Heisei period, as well as the first standalone Kamen Rider TV series since Kamen Rider Black RX and the first series of the revived run of Kamen Rider, bringing Kamen Rider into the 21st century. It was a joint collaboration between Ishimori Productions and Toei, and was shown on TV Asahi from January 30, 2000, to January 21, 2001, replacing ''Moero!! Robocon'' in its timeslot. is a Japanese ''tokusatsu'' television series and the 24th series in Toei's Super Sentai metaseries. Footage from this series was used in the American production ''Power Rangers Time Force''. Letterboxing is the practice of transferring film shot in a widescreen aspect ratio to standard-width video formats while preserving the film's original aspect ratio. The resulting videographic image has mattes (black bars) above and below it; these mattes are part of each frame of the video signal. Widescreen images are displayed within a set of aspect ratios (relationship of image width to height) used in film, television and computer screens. is a Japanese tokusatsu comedy family robot television series created by Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei. It ran from October 4, 1974, to March 25, 1977, on NET TV. ran from January 31, 1999 (a week after the finale of '' Tetsuwan Tantei Robotack'') to January 23, 2000 (a week before the premiere of ''Kamen Rider Kuuga''). This series joined ''Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive''. The story follows Robocon, a student of Gantz's Robot Academy who lives amongst humans and aids them as part of his studies. Though Robocon is a screw up, he makes efforts to establish a good image for robots in the eyes of humans they cross paths with.
