Chen Yuxi
Chen Yuxi (; 11 September 2005) is a Chinese diver. Early life Chen was born on 11 September 2005 to a family with gymnastics background. Her grandfather, Chen Xinxi, was a former gymnast. Her father, Chen Jian, is a gymnastics coach at the Shanghai Youth Sports School in Xuhui District, while her mother, Dong Chunhua, is an associate professor in the gymnastics teaching and research section at the Shanghai University of Sport. Sports career In 2008, she began to practice gymnastics and in 2011, she was selected by Shi Meiqin, the then Shanghai diving team leader, to practice diving. At the beginning of 2017, Chen entered the Shanghai diving team for training. In September 2018, Chen won the women's single 10m platform diving championship and mixed synchronized 10m platform (with Yu Duan) at the National Diving Championships in Chongqing. 2021 National Games Of China
The 14th National Games of China (中华人民共和国第十四届运动会), commonly known as Shaanxi 2021 (陕西2021), was a multi-sports event held throughout Shaanxi from September 15 to 27, 2021 (though some events will be taking place before the games officially start). It is projected that the Games will attract around 20,000 athletes who will compete in 409 events in 35 sports. This will be the first event in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Zhang Jiaqi ( born 28 May 2004) is a Chinese diver. She won the gold medals of Women's 10m Platform and Women's 10m Synchronised Platform in 2018 FINA Diving World Cup. Sports career In 2008, Zhang was sent by her mother to a gymnastics club in Dongcheng District of Beijing for gymnastics training. But after practicing for a period of time, she was retired by the coach as she was deemed not fit to do gymnastics. As a result, Zhang was sent to the diving club of the General Administration of Sport of China to learn swimming and diving. In 2010, the Beijing diving team went to the club where Zhang was located to select young athletes. Zhang, who was less than seven years old, was selected in the second team of the Beijing diving team and officially began professional diving training.
