Minstrels (chocolate)
Galaxy Minstrels are milk chocolate buttons with a hard glazed shell sold in several countries including the UK, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Kenya, Cyprus, Malta, Canada and Spain. They originally had the slogan ''"They melt in your mouth, not in your hands"'', featuring in 1980s British advertisements, the same slogan used in the UK for Treets in the 1960s, and for M&M's in the UK and US up to the 1990s. In line with Mars' re-branding, Minstrels were brought under the Galaxy brand and are now sold as "Galaxy Minstrels", referring to the use of Galaxy chocolate in them. "Sophisticated sharing" and Croker & Jory A new British advertising campaign in July 2008 was accompanied by a new slogan: ''"Sophisticated sharing"''. Galaxy Minstrels Formerly Known As Minstrels
A galaxy is a system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, dark matter, bound together by gravity. Revels (confectionery)
Revels are a chocolate coated confectionery with assorted centres made by Mars, Inc. They were first introduced into the United Kingdom in 1967. Originally, Revels had orange creme, coconut, toffee, or peanut centres, along with Galaxy Counters (Minstrels minus exterior shell) and Maltesers. However, the coconut centres were later replaced with coffee creme, and the peanuts with raisins. Galaxy Counters Galaxy Counters were initially available as a product in their own right, but since their discontinuation they were only sold as part of the Revels selection. Smarties
Smarties are colour-varied sugar-coated chocolate confectionery. They have been manufactured since 1937, originally by H.I. Rowntree & Company in the United Kingdom, and now by Nestlé. Smarties are oblate spheroids with a minor axis of about 5 mm (0.2 in) and a major axis of about 12 mm (0.5 in). They come in eight colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, mauve, pink and brown, although the blue variety was temporarily replaced by a white variety in some countries, whilst an alternative natural colouring dye of the blue colour was being researched. Smarties are sold primarily in Europe, Canada, South Africa, Australasia and the Middle East. M&M's
M&M's (stylized as m&m's) are multi-colored button-shaped chocolates, each of which has the letter "m" printed in lower case in white on one side, consisting of a candy shell surrounding a filling which varies depending upon the variety of M&M's. The original candy has a semi-sweet chocolate filling which, upon introduction of other variations, was branded as the "plain, normal" variety. Peanut M&M's, which feature a peanut coated in milk chocolate, and finally a candy shell, were the first variation to be introduced, and they remain a regular variety. Treets were a brand of confectionery sold by Mars Limited in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
