Treets
Treets were a brand of confectionery sold by Mars Limited in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The original product consisted of peanuts coated in milk chocolate with an outer shell of dark brown glazed candy, and appeared in the UK in the 1960s; these were later marketed as Peanut Treets (sold in a yellow packet), together with Toffee Treets (sold in a blue packet)Berry, Steve & Norman, Phil – "The Great British Tuck Shop", Friday Books, 2012. p.90 and Chocolate Treets (sold in a brown packet). All three shared the same glazed coating, but the filling of the button-shaped Chocolate Treet consisted solely of the milk chocolate which surrounded the peanut or toffee pellet in the other versions. Galaxy Minstrels
Galaxy Minstrels are milk chocolate buttons with a hard glazed shell sold in several countries including the UK, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Kenya, Cyprus, Malta, Canada and Spain. They originally had the slogan ''"They melt in your mouth, not in your hands"'', featuring in 1980s British advertisements, the same slogan used in the UK for Treets in the 1960s, and for M&M's in the UK and US up to the 1990s. In line with Mars' re-branding, Minstrels were brought under the Galaxy brand and are now sold as "Galaxy Minstrels", referring to the use of Galaxy chocolate in them. "Sophisticated sharing" and Croker & Jory A new British advertising campaign in July 2008 was accompanied by a new slogan: ''"Sophisticated sharing"''. M&M's
M&M's (stylized as m&m's) are multi-colored button-shaped chocolates, each of which has the letter "m" printed in lower case in white on one side, consisting of a candy shell surrounding a filling which varies depending upon the variety of M&M's. The original candy has a semi-sweet chocolate filling which, upon introduction of other variations, was branded as the "plain, normal" variety. Peanut M&M's, which feature a peanut coated in milk chocolate, and finally a candy shell, were the first variation to be introduced, and they remain a regular variety.
