Denys Strekalin
Denys Strekalin (born 31 March 1999) is a Ukrainian-born pair skater who competes for France. With his former skating partner, Cléo Hamon, he is a two-time French national champion (2020, 2021), 2018 Volvo Open Cup champion, and has competed in the final segment at three World Junior Championships (2017–2019). Career In Ukraine Strekalin began learning to skate in 2006. Competing in men's singles, he placed seventh at the Ukrainian Junior Championships in 2013 and 2015. He also trained in pair skating with Sofiia Nesterova. Partnership with Hamon Early seasons In August 2016, Strekhalin teamed up with Cleo Hamon to compete for France in pairs. Coached by Mehdi Bouzzine in Courbevoie, they made their international debut in February 2017, placing seventh in junior pairs at the Bavarian Open. 2020 European Figure Skating Championships
The 2020 European Figure Skating Championships were held in Graz, Austria, on 20–26 January 2020. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation at the 2021 European Championships. Qualification Age and minimum TES requirements The competition is open to skaters from all European member nations of the International Skating Union. The corresponding competition for non-European skaters is the 2020 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. Skaters are eligible for the 2020 European Championships if they turned 15 years of age before 1 July 2019 and have met the minimum technical elements score requirements. Andrei Novoselov
Andrei Alexandrovich Novoselov (born 24 November 1989) is a Russian pair skater. Competing for France with Lola Esbrat, he has won three international medals and is the 2018 French national champion. Earlier, he represented Russia with Tatiana Novik, Tatiana Danilova, and Sabina Imaikina. Career for Russia Novoselov began learning to skate in 1993. Partnership with Imaikina In 2007, Novoselov began competing on the ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series with Sabina Imaikina. The following year, they won two silver medals on the JGP series and qualified for the 2008–09 JGP Final, where they placed 5th. At the 2009 Russian Championships, the pair placed fifth on the senior level and took bronze on the junior level. They were coached by Valeri Tiukov and Valentina Tiukova in Perm.
