Andrei Novoselov
Andrei Alexandrovich Novoselov (born 24 November 1989) is a Russian pair skater. Competing for France with Lola Esbrat, he has won three international medals and is the 2018 French national champion. Earlier, he represented Russia with Tatiana Novik, Tatiana Danilova, and Sabina Imaikina. Career for Russia Novoselov began learning to skate in 1993. Partnership with Imaikina In 2007, Novoselov began competing on the ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series with Sabina Imaikina. The following year, they won two silver medals on the JGP series and qualified for the 2008–09 JGP Final, where they placed 5th. At the 2009 Russian Championships, the pair placed fifth on the senior level and took bronze on the junior level. They were coached by Valeri Tiukov and Valentina Tiukova in Perm. Pair skating is a figure skating discipline defined by the International Skating Union (ISU) as "the skating of two persons in unison who perform their movements in such harmony with each other as to give the impression of genuine Pair Skating as compared with independent Single Skating".S&P/ID 2021, p. 109 The ISU also states that a pairs team consists of "one Woman and one Man". Pair skating, along with men's and women's single skating, has been an Olympic discipline since figure skating, the oldest Winter Olympic sport, was introduced at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London. Tiffany Anastasia Zahorski (russian: Тиффани Анастасия Загорски; born 16 August 1994) is an English-Russian ice dancer. Competing with Jonathan Guerreiro for Russia, she is the 2018 NHK Trophy silver medalist, the 2018 Skate America bronze medalist, and a three-time Russian national medalist (2021 silver; 2018, 2020 bronze). With former partner Alexis Miart, she placed fourth at the 2011 World Junior Championships representing France. Personal life Zahorski was born on 16 August 1994 in London, England. She is an only child. Her father, Bohdan Zahorski, trained and subsequently coached at Queens Ice Skating rink in central London until he died on 15 January 2010. 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy
The 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy was held on September 26–28, 2013 at the Eislaufzentrum Oberstdorf. It is held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany and is named after the Nebelhorn, a nearby mountain. Medals were awarded in men's and ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Nebelhorn was the last qualifying event for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Ice Challenge
The Icechallenge (formerly known as the Leo-Scheu-Gedächtnislaufen or Leo Scheu Memorial) is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Grazer Eislaufverein and sanctioned by the Austrian Figure Skating association and the International Skating Union. The event is usually held every autumn in Graz, Austria. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. In 2014 and 2015, the Ice Challenge's senior events were part of the ISU Challenger Series. In 2021, the Icechallenge returned to the ISU Challenger Series under the name Cup of Austria. History The event began in 1971 as the Leo-Scheu-Gedächtnislaufen (Leo Scheu Memorial). It was re-titled the Icechallenge in 2008.
