Henrik Janssen (born 19 May 1998) is a German discus thrower. He was the German national champion in 2023. Career He threw a 62.60 metres distance to qualify for the final at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich. He finished in finished tenth place overall with a 61.11 meters throw in the final. He finished second at the 2023 European Athletics Team Championships in Silesia in June 2023, throwing over 64 metres. On 9 July 2023 he became German champion, throwing 63.93 metres in Kassel. He finished in eighth place at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August 2023 with a top throw of 63.80 metres having qualified for the final with a throw of 63.79 metres. Competing in Germany in May 2024, he threw a lifetime best of 67.43 metres to meet the 2024 Paris Olympics standard, and three days later won a meet in Halle. 2023 European Athletics Team Championships
The 2023 European Athletics Team Championships (ETC) in athletics will be held in Stadion Śląski in June 2023. The event was first planned to be held in Madrid, but after European Athletics and European Olympic Committee reached to an agreement, the event was added to the 2023 European Games programme and moved to Poland. Madrid will host the 2025 ETC. 2024 Diamond League
The 2024 Diamond League is the fifteenth season of the annual series of outdoor track and field meetings, organised by World Athletics. The competition is a revision to the top level athletics series since Diamond League foundation in 2010. The number of Diamond Discipline events is 32. Each meeting will host a number of Diamond Discipline events and some of these events will not be broadcast. 2024 European Athletics Championships
The 26th European Athletics Championships will be held from 7 to 12 June 2024 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy.
