Dmitry Shakuta
Dmitry "Shok" Shakuta ( be, Дзмiтрый Віктаравіч Шакута, born August 7, 1980) is a Belarusian Muay Thai super middleweight kickboxer fighting out of Minsk, Belarus for the SK-55 gym. He is an eight-time amateur and professional world champion who is most well known for being the It's Showtime 77MAX world champion between 2008 and 2009. On November 16, 2020 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia imposed a travel ban against Shakuta ‘for an unspecified period’ because of his alleged involvement in the killing of peaceful protestor Raman Bandarenka. A number of sportspeople have previously identified him in photos and videos of the masked persons who attacked Bandarenka. Shakuta refused to comment on the suspicions. Raman Bandarenka
Raman Bandarenka ( be, Раман Бандарэнка) (August 1, 1989, Minsk – November 12, 2020, Minsk) was an aspiring Belarusian designer, and shop manager. His death is associated with the protests against the 2020 Belarusian presidential election. Raman Bandarenka died after reportedly being beaten by security forces. Police forces said they found him uncounscious and called an ambulance. According to sources, masked assailants in civilian clothing beat him up, in the yard of his apartment building, in the evening of November 11, 2020, in Minsk. Locally, this apartment complex is known as " Square of Changes" (Ploscha Peramen). Later, a minibus took him away. An ambulance brigade brought from the Central District Department of Internal Affairs (Police Station) to a local hospital. At the time the ambulance took him, he was unconscious. "It's Showtime" is a defunct kickboxing and mixed martial arts promotion based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was founded by Simon Rutz in 1998 and held its first show in 1999 and its last near the end of 2012. Joerie "The Shark" Mes (born March 16, 1979) is a Dutch former welterweight kickboxer, fighting out of Mike's Gym in Amsterdam.
