Centrebus Group
Centrebus Group, is a public transport company based in Leicester with bus services in the Midlands, North West and South East of England. Owned by Julian Peddle, the group contains Chaserider, Centrebus, High Peak Buses and D&G Bus. History Centrebus was founded in 2001 as Anstey Buslines. In 2002, they merged with the businesses of inMotion and Lutonian to form Centrebus. In January 2004, Centrebus acquired the St Albans operation of Blazefield although in March 2008 it was sold to Uno. In May 2008 Centrebus entered into a partnership with Arriva Bus UK to form Centrebus Holdings to allow the Huddersfield operations of Stagecoach Yorkshire to be purchased. Despite the common name and livery, Centrebus Holdings has never been owned by Centrebus. In August 2008, Arriva Midlands' depot in Hinckley was transferred to Centrebus Holdings. Midland, previously known as Choice Travel, was a bus company operating mostly in the Wolverhampton and Walsall areas of the West Midlands. Some services also operated in the Staffordshire and Shropshire area. History The company was originally started as Liyell Ltd trading as Midland Choice Travel established by ex-London Forest manager Tom Young and business partner Barrie Marsden in 1992 with two Leyland Leopard coaches and three Leyland Nationals in a lime green and yellow livery, from which the company got its name (LIme green YELLow). Wednesfield
Wednesfield is a town and historic village in the City of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, It is east-northeast of Wolverhampton city centre and about from Birmingham and is part of the West Midlands conurbation. Dove Holes
Dove Holes is a village in the High Peak district of Derbyshire, England. It has a population of about 1,200 (2001), shown in the 2011 Census as being included in the population of Chapel-en-le-Frith. It straddles the A6 road approximately three miles north of Buxton and three miles south of Chapel-en-le-Frith. Trains run from Dove Holes railway station into Manchester. Residents of the village live either in the village or on outlying farms. There are around six farms in the village and many more within the boundaries of the parish.
