Maksym Zhuk
Maksym Evgenovich Zhuk (; born 18 August 2003) is a Ukrainian professional football player who plays as a goalkeeper for SalPa, on loan from KTP. Career Zhuk was born and raised in Mariupol, Ukraine, and played in a youth sector of local club FC Mariupol. In late February 2022, he attended the club's first team's training camp in Turkey. On 24 February, the team was supposed to return to Ukraine, but before the boarding of their flight, the Russian invasion of Ukraine escalated and Russia started bombing the country and also Mariupol. His family fled from Ukraine and relocated to Tallinn, Estonia. After spending one month in Turkey, Zhuk and the FC Mariupol players started to look for new clubs. Via Croatia and Poland, Zhuk ended up to Estonian club Nõmme Kalju. Mariupol
Mariupol is a city in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is situated on the northern coast (Pryazovia) of the Sea of Azov, at the mouth of the Kalmius, Kalmius River. Prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it was the tenth-largest city in the country and the second-largest city in Donetsk Oblast, with an estimated population of 425,681 people in January 2022; as of August 2023, Ukrainian authorities estimate the population of Mariupol at approximately 120,000. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. Until the end of 2023, ''Kakkonen'' was the third-highest level in Finland, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kakkonen also dropped down one level in the league pyramid. The new fourth-tier Kakkonen is divided to three groups, each consisting of 10 teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen ( Finnish for 'Number Two'; ). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. The 2025 Ykkösliiga is the second season of the Ykkösliiga, the second highest league in the Finnish football league system. The season began on 21 April 2025. Teams Team changes The league was contested with 10 clubs. * KTP won the 2024 Ykkösliiga and were promoted to 2025 Veikkausliiga. 2023 Kakkonen
The 2023 Kakkonen was the 51st season of Kakkonen, the third-highest football league in Finland. The season began on 21 April 2023 and ended on 8 October 2023. It was the final season of the Kakkonen serving as the third-tier football league in Finland, following its demotion to fourth-tier. The three groups winners and the highest-ranked runner up qualified for the Kakkonen Championship play-offs, with the winners ( PK-35 Vantaa) and runners-up (JIPPO) being promoted to the 2024 Ykkösliiga. 2025 Veikkausliiga
The 2025 Veikkausliiga is the 95th season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. Veikkaus is the league's sponsor. Teams The league consisted of twelve teams; ten teams remaining from the previous season, and two teams promoted from the Ykkösliiga. KuPS entered the season as defending champions. 2021–22 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2021–22 Ukrainian Premier League season, referred to as the VBet Liha for sponsorship reasons, was the 31st top-level football club competition since the Dissolution of the Soviet Union, fall of the Soviet Union and the 14th since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. On 1 July 2021, UPL announced that the new title sponsor for the next three years will be another bookmaking company, VBet. The defending champions were the 16-time winners FC Dynamo Kyiv, Dynamo Kyiv. The competition was terminated at the UPL extraordinary general meeting on 26 April 2022 due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
