Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. Until the end of 2023, ''Kakkonen'' was the third-highest level in Finland, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kakkonen also dropped down one level in the league pyramid. The new fourth-tier Kakkonen is divided to three groups, each consisting of 10 teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen ( Finnish for 'Number Two'; ). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. Petter Meyer finished the 2015 as the top goal scorer for GrIFK with 23 goals. FC Kiffen 08
Kronohagens Idrottsförening (abbreviated KIF or Kiffen) () is a sports club from Helsinki, Finland. The club was founded on 27 September 1908, and has been mainly known for the achievements of its association football and handball teams. In the past the club also played at the top level in ice hockey and has won the ''Kalevan malja'' (Kaleva Cup) in Sport of athletics, athletics. Other sports that the club participates include shooting sports, shooting, bandy, bowling, and boxing. GrIFK
Grankulla IFK, or GrIFK as the name is commonly abbreviated, is a Finnish sports club from the city of Kauniainen. The club was formed in 1925 and the main activities covered are football, ice-hockey, handball, floorball and alpine. Each sport is organized in separated daughter clubs since 1997. These are GrIFK-Fotboll, GrIFK-Handboll, GrIFK-Salibandy, GrIFK-Icehockey and GrIFK Alpine. Käpylän Pallo, commonly referred to as KäPa for short, is a football (soccer) club from the Käpylä district of Helsinki. The club currently plays in the Ykkösliiga, the new second tier of the Finnish league system. Their home arena is Max Westerberg Areena in Käpylän liikuntapuisto, Käpylä, Helsinki. KäPa first team currently play their home matches at the Brahenkenttä, Helsinki due to the requirements in the second-tier. FC Futura (abbreviated Futura) is a football club from Porvoo in Finland. The club was formed in 1992 and their home ground is at the Porvoon keskuskenttä. PK-35 (originally Pallokerho-35) is a Finnish men's professional Association football, football club, based in Helsinki. It currently competes in the Ykkösliiga, the second-tier of men's football league in Finland. Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa (abbreviated PK Keski-Uusimaa or PKKU) is a football club serving the sub-region of Keski-Uusimaa in Finland and is centred on the towns of Järvenpää, Kerava and Tuusula. Atlantis FC
Atlantis FC is a Finnish football club, based in Helsinki. It currently plays in the third tier of Finnish football (''Ykkönen''). History The club was founded in late 1995 when Johanneksen Dynamo (founded 1980) and FC Norssi (founded 1985) merged. The name "Atlantis FC" was created by Gösta Sundqvist, singer of Leevi and the Leavings. JIPPO
Jippo (stylised as JIPPO 2001–2024) is a Finnish football club, based in Joensuu. It plays in the Ykkösliiga, the second highest level of Finnish football. Jippo plays its home matches at Mehtimäki, Joensuu. History JIPPO was formed in 2001 after the merger of JiiPee and Ratanat – both playing in the Kakkonen (third level), the division Jippo played its first four seasons from 2002 to 2005. Nurmijärven Jalkapalloseura
Nurmijärven Jalkapalloseura (abbreviated NJS) is a football club from Nurmijärvi, Finland. The club was formed in 2004 following the amalgamation of Nurmijärven Nateva and FC Nurmijärvi. The club's home ground is at the sports area of Klaukkala (''Klaukkalan urheilualue''). The men's first team currently plays in the Kakkonen (Third tier). Background NJS does not have a long history but the club gained promotion from the Nelonen to the Kolmonen at the end of the 2008 season. The 2025 Kakkonen is the 53rd season of Kakkonen, the fourth-highest football league in Finland. The season began on 12 April and ended in October 2025. It's the second season of the Kakkonen serving as the fourth-tier football league in Finland. Teams The league consisted of thirty teams, split into three equal groups (A, B, and C). Sakari Tukiainen
Sakari Tukiainen (born 2 October 1991) is a Finnish striker who plays for Tercera Federación club Manchego Ciudad Real. Club career Tukiainen began his career with Finnish youth academy Espoon Palloseura (EPS), where he played from 1997 until 2008 when he quit the game. At EPS, Tukiainen played as a defender. He stopped playing football at the age of 17 due to lack of motivation. After a five-year break, his friend encouraged him to play for Club Latino Español who were playing in the 7th Division in Helsinki. Club Latino Español in Helsinki who were then coached by Paraguayan Rodrigo Acosta. Acosta saw a striker in Tukiainen, and he was their best in 2013 with 30 goals.
