U.S. Pro Indoor
The U.S. Pro Indoor (mainly known as such during its run, but also as the ''U.S. Professional Indoor'', the ''Ebel U.S. Pro Indoor'', the ''Comcast U.S. Indoor'', and the ''Advanta Championships'') is a defunct professional tennis tournament held in Philadelphia, United States from 1968 to 1998. It played on indoor carpet courts, and indoor hard courts. It was part of the World Championship Tennis (WCT) circuit from 1968 to 1977 and the Grand Prix Tour from 1978 to 1989 before being held on the ATP Tour. It was held annually first at the Spectrum, and then at the CoreStates Center. It was originally named the Philadelphia Indoor Open Tournament prior to the open era. The Pepperstone ATP rankings are the Association of Tennis Professionals' (ATP) merit-based system for determining the rankings in men's tennis. The top-ranked player is the player who, over the previous 52 weeks, has garnered the most ranking points on the ATP Tour. Jan Leschly (born 11 September 1940) is a Danish businessman and former professional tennis player. He was a semi finalist in the men's singles at the 1967 U.S. National Championships, and a quarter finalist in doubles at the1966 Wimbledon Championships. Between 1957 and 1973 he won 18 career titles in singles. Tennis career He was a tour tennis professional from the late the 1950s to the early 1970s. International Series Gold (previously known as the Championship Series) was a series of professional tennis tournaments held internationally between 2000 and 2008 that were part of the Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP Tour.
