The Ludwig Foundation Of Cuba
The Ludwig Foundation of Cuba (LFC) is a non-governmental, non-profit institution located in Havana, Cuba, created with the mission of protecting and promoting Cuban artists in Cuba and internationally. History After seeing an exhibition of Cuban Art in Düsseldorf, Germany, the art patrons and collectors Peter and Irene Ludwig began to interest themselves in contemporary Cuban art. They made many visits to Cuba and formed an important collection of Cuban art, including artists such as Belkis Ayón Manso, José Braulio Bedia Valdés, Los Carpinteros, Antonio Eligio Fernández, Kcho and Marta Mariá Pérez Bravo. This couple of world-renowned European private collectors, develop the idea to create a Ludwig Museum in Havana, with an annual support of their ''Peter and Irene Ludwig Foundation'' located in Aachen. Esterio Segura Mora
Esterio Segura Mora (born August 22, 1970 in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba) is a Cuban artist. Education From a very young age, Mora had an immense interest in visual arts. From 1982 to 1985 he studied at the Escuela Elemental de Artes Plásticas of Camaguey, Cuba, and next studied at the Escuela Provincial de Artes Plásticas y Ballet, also in Camaguey. In 1989 he began his instruction at the Instituto Superior de Arte (I.S.A) in Havana, which he finished in 1994. René de Jesus Peña Gonzalez (Born in 1957 in Havana) is a Cuban artist specializing in photography, and exposed his pictures in different exhibitions in Cuba (Havana), Spain and in the US (Seattle, Pennsylvania, New York City). He took his first pictures with his family camera at the age of eight years but has never had any formal training. Glenda León
Glenda León is a Cuban artist born in Havana, in 1976. León received a graduate degree in visual arts from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana, while also graduating from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in Cologne, Germany in 2007. Daniel Garbade
Daniel Garbade (born 1957) is a Swiss painter, illustrator, art director, property master, and publisher. Born in Switzerland from Swiss-Cuban origins, Garbade is the grand-nephew of Adrien Lachenal, great-grandchild of Cuban sculptor Fernando Heydrich, grandson of Theodore Garbade and cousin of sculptor Juan Esnard Heydrich. Garbade lived in Spain from 1983–2011, then taking residence in his hometown Zurich, to work with Peyer Fine Art. In 2016 he returned to Spain, living in Mascaraque, Castile- La Mancha. Juan Carlos Alom (born December 1964 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban photographer. Alom is a photographer, documentary and experimental filmmaker. His artistic career started in the 1990s in Havana. Grupo ABTV (ABTV Group) was the name given to the artistic collaboration between Cuban artists Tanya Angulo (1968),  Juan Ballester Carmenates (1966),  José Toirac (1966) and Ileana Villazón (1969) by the Uruguayan artist and critic  Luis Camnitzer. The beginning of the Group Camnitzer created the acronym with the surnames of its members during his research on Cuban art that he would later publish as New Art of Cuba. José Manuel Fors is a contemporary Cuban artist born in Havana in 1956. His work is principally based on installations and supported by photography. His first artistic forays, during the early eighties, were part of what has been coined "The Renaissance of Cuban Art".
