''Taasir'' is an Urdu-language daily newspaper published in India. It was established in 2013. It launched in Patna, the capital city of Bihar. ''Taasir'' is being published from eleven Indian states with 12 editions, and is the country's highest circulating Urdu-written daily newspaper. Bhagalpur is a city in the Indian state of Bihar, situated on the southern banks of the river Ganges. Ranchi (, ) is the capital of the Indian state of Jharkhand. Ranchi was the centre of the Jharkhand movement, which called for a separate state for the tribal regions of South Bihar, northern Odisha, western West Bengal and the eastern area of what is present-day Chhattisgarh.
