Soora Samharam In Vadiveeswaram Azhagamman Temple
''Soora'' is a 2008 Maldivian drama film written and directed by Fathimath Nahula. Produced under Crystal Entertainment, the film stars Ali Ahmed, Amira Ismail and Aminath Ameela in pivotal roles. Premise Riyaz and Niyaz (both roles played by Ali Ahmed) are two identical twins; Riyaz is happily married to Zeena ( Aminath Ameela) while Niyaz is romantically attracted to Nashwa (Amira Ismail) who is being domestically abused by her drug addict husband, Shifan (Mahir). Niyaz was able to save Nashwa from her miserable life but the family met with an unfortunate incident when the cycle Niyaz and Riyaz were driving gets crashed in an accident ultimately killing the latter. Yoosuf Shafeeu
Yoosuf Shafeeu also known as Eupe (20 October 1975) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, writer, and director. One of the most successful filmmakers and actors in Maldivian Cinema, Shafeeu is the recipient of a number of awards, including eight Gaumee Film Awards, and a Maldives Film Award; ; holding the record of collecting maximum Gaumee Film Award for Best Actor. Fathimath Nahula (born 22 June 1973) is a Maldivian film director, film producer and screenwriter. Early life In 1991, Nahula joined Jamaluddin school and worked as a teacher for four years. During the time, she spends most of her time in writing and developing stories. She then penned dialogues and stories for several films and television dramas produced by Television Maldives while publishing handful of them on different platforms including newspapers and magazines. Ali Ahmed was a Maldivian film actor. Career In 2003, Ahmed played the role of a greedy man, in the Abdul Faththaah-directed critically acclaimed television series, ''Thiyey Mihithuge Vindhakee'' (2003) which was considered as one of the best series production in television industry. Amira Ismail (born 4 October 1985) is a Maldivian actress. Career Ismail first filmed for a film titled ''Loabi Dhasvejje'' which was ultimately delayed and shelved. She then collaborated with Amjad Ibrahim for his romantic horror film '' Dhonkamana'' (2003) which depicts the romantic relationship between a young man (played by Yoosuf Shafeeu) and an old woman (played by Fauziyya Hassan). Ibrahim Zaid Ali (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Kuda Ibbe is a Maldivian singer and music composer. Early life and career Since childhood, Ali had been listening to all genres of songs from Bollywood classical to hip-hop to heavy metal music. At the age of seven, Ali fabricated music equipment including guitar and drum using wood, plywood and tin, where he used these self-made instruments to perform songs in the football stadium.
