Unoosha
Mariyam Unoosha (born 6 October 1985), known mononymously as Unoosha is a Maldivian female singer and songwriter. She is from a prominent Maldivian singing family. Her parents were in the 90s famous band " Olympians". She has won many awards and has performed in various high caliber shows in Maldives and abroad. Life and career Early life Unoosha was born on 6 October 1985 in Malé and graduated from Aminiyya School. She started singing at a very young age. Her parents (Shafeega and Mr. Naseer) are music legends in Maldives. She won the 1st place of "The inter School Music Competition" in a row and became the first ever female vocalist to win the competition 3 times. After a year since she finished her O’levels, she took up an offer from a local Music band called ''Amazon Jade'' and worked with the band for 4 years. Ali Seezan
Ali Seezan (born 6 February 1977) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, director and producer. He has established a career in Maldives Film Industry and is a recipient of two National Film Awards. Early life Ali Seezan was born on 6 February 1977. His parents Fathimath Waheeda and Abdul Rasheed are not active members of the film industry, though his father has worked in arranging stage shows for many events. He completed his studies at Madhrasathul Ameer Ahmed and Majeediyya School. He is a nephew of Maldivian actor and politician Reeko Moosa Manik. Mukhthar Adam
Umar Zahir (30 May 1971) is a Maldivian singer. Career Born in GA. Dhaandhoo, Adam initiated his career as a musician by joining a local band to take part in some of the occasional stage shows held in his island and atoll. He rose to prominence in the year 1999, where he released the studio albums ''Husreethi'' and ''Nadhuru'' which all went to become a huge success. This led to Mukhthar receiving several offers from music directors and his voice was heard in several albums released during the year 2000 to 2006. ''Yoosuf'' is a 2008 Maldivian romantic drama film written and directed by Fathimath Nahula. Easa Shareef is a Maldivian film director, actor, screen-writer, editor and lyricist.
