Sofiia Nesterova
Sofiia Nesterova ( uk, Софія Нестерова; born 21 August 2003) is a retired Ukrainian pair skater. With her former partner, Artem Darenskyi, she is a two-time Ukrainian national senior champion. The pair has competed in the final segment at two World Junior Championships, finishing within the top eight at the 2019 edition. Career Early years Nesterova began learning to skate in 2006. In February 2017, she won the Ukrainian junior ladies' title ahead of Anastasia Arkhipova and Anastasia Hozhva. She was too young to compete as a junior internationally. Before 2016, she also trained in pair skating with Denys Strekalin. 2017–2018 season Nesterova became age-eligible for junior international events at the start of the season. Coached by Maryna Amirkhanova in Kyiv, she competed at two ISU Junior Grand Prix assignments, placing 8th in Minsk, Belarus, and then 12th in Egna, Italy. 2020 European Figure Skating Championships
The 2020 European Figure Skating Championships were held in Graz, Austria, on 20–26 January 2020. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation at the 2021 European Championships. Qualification Age and minimum TES requirements The competition is open to skaters from all European member nations of the International Skating Union. The corresponding competition for non-European skaters is the 2020 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. Skaters are eligible for the 2020 European Championships if they turned 15 years of age before 1 July 2019 and have met the minimum technical elements score requirements. ''Braveheart – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'' is the instrumental soundtrack album to the 1995 film of the same name composed and conducted by James Horner and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. It is Horner's second of three collaborations with Mel Gibson as director following ''The Man Without a Face'' (1993). The soundtrack, comprising 77 minutes of film score, was notably successful and was nominated for Best Original Score at the 68th Academy Awards in 1996, but lost to Luis Bacalov's composition to ''Il Postino''. Horner's score includes a melody that appeared again in his 1997 music for ''Titanic''. Irish band Clannad wrote a theme tune for the film, entitled 'Croí Cróga' (meaning 'braveheart'). ''Don Juan'' is a musical written by Félix Gray in 2003. ''Don Juan'' was presented in Canada (mainly Quebec and Ottawa) and in France with a total of 600,000 viewers all over the world. The cast also went to South Korea. The soundtrack of the musical saw sales of more than 300,000 copies. The show had a run until 2006. The original cast was Jean-François Breau in the role of Don Juan and Marie-Ève Janvier in the role of Maria, as well as the 2012 revival. The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014-2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters.
