SSX2B
''SSX'' is a series of snowboarding and skiing video games published by EA Sports. It is an arcade-style racing game with larger-than-life courses, characters, and tricks. While the general focus of the series is racing and performing tricks on snowboards, the underlying gameplay of each edition alters slightly; for example, while the original ''SSX'' relies on a working knowledge of speed and trick boosts, ''SSX On Tour'' requires players to complete different phat combos and monster tricks. ''SSX'' is intended to be short for Snowboard Supercross, but the complete title has almost never been referred to in any way in the marketing or promotion of the games or within the games themselves. According to 2012's ''SSX'', the acronym in Team SSX means Snowboarding, Surfing, and Motocross. The franchise has been critically acclaimed, with the first three installments receiving over 90.00% on GameRankings. Initial sales for the game have been kept a secret by publisher Electronic Art ...

SSX (2012 Video Game)
''SSX'' is a 2012 snowboarding video game in the '' SSX'' series of video games from Electronic Arts. It is a reboot of the series. First revealed at the Spike Video Game Awards in 2010 under the working title ''SSX: Deadly Descents'', the game's trailer appeared to show a much darker direction to the series than previous entries, though later footage revealed a return to a lighter tone. ''SSX'' includes the use of real locations, rather than the fictional courses of past games. Unlike the previous SSX games, this one does not use the EA Sports BIG sub-brand, and instead uses the standard EA Sports branding. Along with ''SSX'', ''FIFA Street'' was also resurrected in 2012 for a new game. The game was developed by EA Canada and released in North America on February 28, 2012, and was later released worldwide in March on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Upon release, the game received positive reviews from critics, who praised the motivation behind its development, and was a commercial ...

Sega Dreamcast
The is a home video game console released by Sega on November 27, 1998, in Japan; September 9, 1999, in North America; and October 14, 1999, in Europe. It was the first sixth-generation video game console, preceding Sony's PlayStation 2, Nintendo's GameCube and Microsoft's Xbox, and it was Sega's final console, ending the company's eighteen years in the console market. The Dreamcast was developed by an internal Sega team led by Hideki Sato. In contrast to the expensive hardware of the unsuccessful Saturn, the Dreamcast was designed to reduce costs with "off-the-shelf" components, including a Hitachi SH-4 CPU and an NEC PowerVR2 GPU. Sega used the GD-ROM media format to avoid the expenses of DVD-ROM technology and a custom version of the Windows CE operating system to make porting PC games easy. The Dreamcast was the first console to include a built-in modular modem for internet access and online play. Though released in Japan to a subdued reception, the Dreamcast had a succ ...

GameRankings
GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average. Scores were culled from numerous American and European sources. The site used a percentage grade for all reviews in order to be able to calculate an average. However, because not all sites use the same scoring system (some rate out of 5 or 10, while others use a letter grade), GameRankings changed all other types of scores into percentages using a relatively straightforward conversion process. When a game accumulated six total reviews, it w ...
