Ruben Schaken
Ruben Schaken (; born 3 April 1982) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a right winger. He has represented the Netherlands national team on seven occasions between 2012 and 2013, scoring two goals in the process. Career Early career Having previously trained in the academies of Ajax Amsterdam and AZ Alkmaar, Schaken started his professional career with SC Cambuur where he played 75 matches before being signed by Eerste Divisie side BV Veendam. He spent three seasons with Veendam, making over 100 appearances for the club, and won the Jupiler League Best Player award in the 2007–2008 season. The following season, following the expiration of his contract with Veendam, Schaken was signed by VVV-Venlo on a 2-year contract. In his debut season he helped the team to the league title, thereby earning the club promotion to the Eredivisie. Feyenoord Rotterdam () is a Dutch professional football club in Rotterdam, which plays in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football. 2008–09 Eerste Divisie
Eerste Divisie 2008–09 began in August 2008 and concluded in May 2009, with the promotion playoffs. Sixteen clubs remained in the Eerste Divisie, whilst Excelsior and VVV-Venlo were relegated from the 2007–08 Eredivisie. VVV-Venlo won the league title and were promoted to the Eredivisie, the highest tier of football in the Netherlands, while eight other teams competed in a playoff with two Eredivisie sides for two Eredivisie places. Standings Period winners The competition is divided into six periods ( nl, periode) of six matches each. The winner of each period ( nl, periodekampioen) qualifies for the playoffs at the end of the season. SC Heracles
Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club based in Almelo, founded in 1903. The club has won the Dutch national title twice, in 1927 and 1941. NAC Breda (), often simply known as NAC, is a Dutch professional football club, based in Breda, Netherlands. NAC Breda play in the Rat Verlegh Stadium, named after their most important player, Antoon 'Rat' Verlegh. They play in the Eerste Divisie. Stadion Feijenoord (), more commonly known by its nickname De Kuip (, the Tub), is a stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was completed in 1937. The name is derived from the Feijenoord district in Rotterdam, and from the club with the same name (although the club's name was internationalised to Feyenoord in 1973). The stadium's original capacity was 64,000. In 1949, it was expanded to 69,000, and in 1994 it was converted to a 51,117-seat all-seater. Sekou Cissé (born 23 May 1985) is an Ivorian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. He most recently played for Anorthosis Famagusta FC, Anorthosis Famagusta in the Cypriot First Division. The 2011–12 season was Feyenoord's 104th season of play, it was their 56th season in the Eredivisie and its 90th consecutive season in the highest Dutch football division.
