2011–12 Feyenoord Season
The 2011–12 season was Feyenoord's 104th season of play, it was their 56th season in the Eredivisie and its 90th consecutive season in the highest Dutch football division. They ended their league campaign in second place, after winning ten of the last eleven games of the season. Dick Van Well
Dick van Well (;In isolation, ''van'' is pronounced . born 1948 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch businessman and is mainly known for being chairman of Dutch football team Feyenoord Rotterdam from 2007-2015. Van Well was chairman of the Dura Vermeer Group in Zoetermeer for many years. He is known to support Feyenoord since the 1960s, the time that the quality of Dutch football improved to their glorious years in the 1970s, including Feyenoord European Cup win in 1970. He also has his own business seat in the Feijenoord Stadion. Van Well was appointed as Feyenoord's new chairman after Jorien van den Herik was forced to withdraw from his position in the 2006-07 season. The man who saved Feyenoord from bankruptcy in 1992 now made some financial errors, which eventually placed the club under special guardianship. Oussama Assaidi
Oussama Assaidi ( Riffian-Berber: ⵓⵙⴰⵎⴰ ⴰⵙⴰⵄⵉⴷⵉ; born 15 August 1988) is a retired Moroccan footballer who played as a winger. Assaidi began his career in the Netherlands with AZ. After failing to earn a contract with AZ, he played with second tier club FC Omniworld and then De Graafschap before joining Heerenveen in 2009. His performances at the Abe Lenstra Stadion earned him international recognition with the Morocco national team and also attracted the attentions of bigger European clubs. Assaidi signed with English Premier League side Liverpool in August 2012 for a fee of £2.4 million. He struggled to break into the first team at Anfield, however, and joined Stoke City on loan for the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons, before being sold to Al-Ahli Dubai in January 2015. Bas Dost
Bas Dost (; born 31 May 1989) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for Eredivisie club FC Utrecht. Having begun his career at FC Emmen in the Eerste Divisie, Dost later played in the Eredivisie for Heracles Almelo and SC Heerenveen. In 2012, after being the top scorer in the league with 32 goals in 34 games, he was signed by VfL Wolfsburg. Four years later, having helped his team win the DFB-Pokal he signed for Primeira Liga side Sporting CP. He won the Bola de Prata for top scorer in his first Primeira Liga season, with 34 goals in 31 games. At Sporting, Dost won the Taça de Portugal once and the Taça da Liga twice, totalling 93 goals in 125 games. Dost played for the Netherlands at under-20 and under-21 level. He was called up to the senior side for the first time in August 2012, but did not make his debut until March 2015. Sportclub Heerenveen (; West Frisian: Sportklub It Hearrenfean) is a Dutch football club from Heerenveen. They currently play in the Eredivisie, the top level of football in the Netherlands. History Sportclub Heerenveen was founded on 20 July 1920 in the town of Heerenveen, Friesland, as Athleta. It changed name twice, first to Spartaan and then to v.v. Heerenveen in 1922. Reinold (also known as Reinhold of Koln, in German as Reinhold von Köln) was a Benedictine monk who lived in the 10th century. Almelo
Almelo () is a municipality and a city in the eastern Netherlands. The main population centres in the town are Aadorp, Almelo, Mariaparochie, and Bornerbroek. Almelo has about 72,000 inhabitants in the middle of the rolling countryside of Twente, with the industrial centres of Enschede and Hengelo as close neighbours but also with tourist towns like Ootmarsum, Delden and Markelo only a bicycle ride away. Almelo received city rights in 1394. Within the city limits lies the castle of the Counts of Almelo. Erve Asito, formerly the Polman Stadion, is a multi-use stadium in Almelo, Netherlands. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 12.080 spectators and was built in 1999. It is the official stadium of Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo. Glynor Plet (born 30 January 1987) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for club SC Telstar. Club career Telstar In the 2009–10 season, Plet was one of the revelations in the Dutch second division. Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club based in Almelo, founded in 1903. The club has won the Dutch national title twice, in 1927 and 1941. Leroy Johan Fer (born 5 January 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Turkish Süper Lig club Alanyaspor.
