2010–11 Feyenoord Season
The 2010–11 season is Feyenoord's fifty-fifth consecutive season in the Dutch Eredivisie. This season, Feyenoord competes in three competitions; the Eredivisie, the KNVB Cup and the Europa League. As there were only three teams in this year's edition of the Guadiana Trophy, a penalty shootout was carried out at the end of each fixture to make sure that a clear winner could be selected. Dick Van Well
Dick van Well (;In isolation, ''van'' is pronounced . born 1948 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch businessman and is mainly known for being chairman of Dutch football team Feyenoord Rotterdam from 2007-2015. Van Well was chairman of the Dura Vermeer Group in Zoetermeer for many years. He is known to support Feyenoord since the 1960s, the time that the quality of Dutch football improved to their glorious years in the 1970s, including Feyenoord European Cup win in 1970. He also has his own business seat in the Feijenoord Stadion. Van Well was appointed as Feyenoord's new chairman after Jorien van den Herik was forced to withdraw from his position in the 2006-07 season. The man who saved Feyenoord from bankruptcy in 1992 now made some financial errors, which eventually placed the club under special guardianship. Ron Vlaar
Ron Peter Vlaar (born 16 February 1985) is a Dutch former Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, centre-back. Vlaar came up through AZ Alkmaar, AZ's youth ranks. After making his professional debut, he played sparingly for two seasons before joining Feyenoord in 2006. Daan Bovenberg (born 25 October 1988) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a right back. Career Bovenberg started his career with Excelsior. The term Rotterdam derby refers to the local derbies in Rotterdam played between two of the three professional football clubs Feyenoord, Sparta Rotterdam or Excelsior. Bernie Raymond Blom, known as Kevin Blom (born 21 February 1974 in Gouda), is a Dutch football referee, who officiates for FIFA and UEFA. He has refereed in the Eerste Divisie, the Eredivisie and the UEFA Champions League. His home town is Alphen aan den Rijn. Jan Wuytens (; born 9 June 1985) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as a centre back.
