Rotor (band)
Rotor is a thrash metal music band from Jakarta that was formed in 1991 and fronted by Irvan Sembiring. This band's name skyrocketed even more after successfully becoming the supporting act for Metallica's concert for two consecutive days at the Lebak Bulus stadium in Jakarta in 1993. Even though it was formed in Jakarta, Rotor's debut stage was at Taman Topi. In a rock performance held by a private radio in Bogor, this ''thrasher'' quartet appeared together with their metal colleagues from Jakarta, including Atomic and Alien Scream. At that time they were still performing songs belonging to the band from Brazil, namely Sepultura. Indonesian Heavy Metal
Indonesian heavy metal or Indonesian metal music are music with the heavy metal genre that developed and emerged from local Indonesian metal bands. In history, the rise of metal music in Indonesia was influenced by the popularity of Indonesian rock music. Several sub-genres of heavy metal in Indonesia are also quite popular, such as thrash metal, death metal, power metal, progressive metal, black metal, and gothic metal which are often performed by local metal bands in Indonesia. History 1970s–1980s The embryo of the birth of the underground rock music scene in Indonesia is difficult to separate from the evolution of the pioneer rockers of the 70s era like their predecessors. For example, God Bless, Gank Pegangsaan, Gypsy (Jakarta), Giant Step, Super Kid (Bandung), Terncem (Solo), AKA/SAS (Surabaya), Bentoel (Malang) to Rawe Rontek from Banten. They are the first generation of Indonesian rockers. The term underground itself has actually been used by Aktuil Magazine since th ...

Remastered
Remaster refers to changing the quality of the sound or of the image, or both, of previously created recordings, either audiophonic, cinematic, or videographic. The terms digital remastering and digitally remastered are also used. Mastering A master is the definitive recording version that will be replicated for the end user, commonly into other formats (e.g. LP records, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays). A batch of copies is often made from a single original master recording, which might itself be based on previous recordings. For example, sound effects (e.g. a door opening, punching sounds, falling down the stairs, a bell ringing) might have been added from copies of sound effect tapes similar to modern sampling to make a radio play for broadcast. Problematically, several different levels of masters often exist for any one audio release. As an example, examine the way a typical music album from the 1960s was created. Musicians and vocalists were recorded on multi-track Magnetic tape, tap ...

Thrash Metal
Thrash metal (or simply thrash) is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music characterized by its overall aggression and often fast tempo.Kahn-Harris, Keith, ''Extreme Metal: Music and Culture on the Edge'', pp. 2–3, 9. Oxford: Berg, 2007, . The songs usually use fast percussive beats and low-register guitar riffs, overlaid with shredding-style lead guitar work. The lyrical subject matter often includes criticism of The Establishment and concern over environmental destruction, and at times shares a disdain for Christian dogma with that of black metal. The language is typically direct and denunciatory, an approach borrowed from hardcore punk. The genre emerged in the early 1980s as musicians began fusing the double bass drumming and complex guitar stylings of the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM) with the speed and aggression of hardcore punk. Philosophically, thrash metal developed as a backlash against both the conservatism of the Reagan Era and the much more moder ...
