''Robinsonekspedisjonen: 2000'' was the second season of ''Robinsonekspedisjonen'', the Norwegian version of the Swedish show ''Expedition Robinson ''Robinson'', formerly ''Expedition Robinson'', is a Swedish reality game show and the original version of the international '' Survivor'' format. The television show places a group of strangers in an isolated location, where they must provid ...''. It aired from 10 September to 3 December 2000. Christer Falch was the host for the second season of ''Robinsonekspedisjonen'' and has been the host ever since. Therese Andersen won the 2000 season over Ihne Vagmo by an unknown margin in the secret ballot, becoming the first female to win the Norwegian version. The ratings for the second season were much better than those of the first. Tengah Island
Tengah Island ( ms, Pulau Tengah) is a privately owned island in Mersing District, Johor, Malaysia. It lies nine nautical miles off the coast of Mersing on the South China Sea. Near Besar Island, Tengah Island is 16 km off the coast and is a 45-minute boat ride. During the 1970s, the island became famous as a Vietnamese refugee transit campsite, which was subsequently closed in the early 1980s. The island was the first location for the making of the TV show Expedition Robinson in 1997. In 1985, Tengah Island was one of the few islands nominated by the Malaysian government as a Marine Park due to its abundant marine life and rare species of fish and coral. The island is home to an upscale resort called Batu Batu. The resort runs a conservation program called Turtle Watch Camp in which marine biologists have built a hatchery to preserve sea turtle eggs until they hatch. Helgeroa
Helgeroa is a village in Larvik municipality, Norway. It is a popular tourist destination during summers. It is home to a marina, guest harbor, and a harbor for ferries operating in the Langesundsfjord. At the tip of the pier is the 8-meter tall Nesjar Monument. Before 1988 it was a part of Brunlanes municipality, and has since then grown together with the adjacent village Nevlunghavn. The two villages have a combined population of 1,573.
