Raul Danny Vargas
Raul "Danny" Vargas is an American businessman, media personality, U.S. Air Force veteran and political activist. He is founder and president of VARCom Solutions, a D.C. area-based marketing and public relations firm. He was the National Chairman of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly from 2007 - 2009. Vargas unsuccessfully ran as a Republican in Virginia's 86th House of Delegates district in the 2015 Virginia House of Delegates election, losing to Democrat Jennifer Boysko. The Republican National Hispanic Assembly is an American political organization founded in 1967 which seeks to promote Hispanic-American issues and interests within the Republican Party, and the Party's interests and candidates within the Hispanic-American population. Virginia's 86th House Of Delegates District
Virginia's 86th House of Delegates district elects one of 100 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates, the lower house of the state's bicameral legislature. The district was established in 1982 and represents parts of Loudoun and Fairfax County. It was represented by Democrat Ibraheem Samirah until 2021, when Irene Shin won the primary and general elections. Geography The district includes an eastern portion of Loudoun County and a western part of Fairfax County. Loudoun's section includes two precincts, both in Sterling Park, while 13 of the district's precincts are in Fairfax County, including in Herndon, Oak Hill and Chantilly. Jennifer Boysko
Jennifer Barton Boysko (born November 16, 1966) is an American politician from the Commonwealth of Virginia. She represents the 33rd district in the Virginia Senate. Previously, she represented the 86th district in the Virginia House of Delegates, which is located in Fairfax and Loudoun counties. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Early life and career Boysko was reared in Alabama and Arkansas. In 1989, she graduated from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Since 1996, Boysko has been a resident of downtown Herndon, Virginia, where she and her husband Glenn have raised two daughters, Hannah and Sophie Claire. Indentured Servitude
Indentured servitude is a form of labor in which a person is contracted to work without salary for a specific number of years. The contract, called an "indenture", may be entered "voluntarily" for purported eventual compensation or debt repayment, or it may be imposed as a judicial punishment. Historically, it has been used to pay for apprenticeships, typically when an apprentice agreed to work for free for a master tradesman to learn a trade (similar to a modern internship but for a fixed length of time, usually seven years or less). Later it was also used as a way for a person to pay the cost of transportation to colonies in the Americas.
