Prince (cigarette)
Prince is a Danish brand of cigarettes, owned by multinational British American Tobacco, and produced by House of Prince, which until 2008 was a subsidiary of the Scandinavian Tobacco Company. History Prince was introduced in 1957 on the Danish market by Chr. Augustine's Fabrikker as a 'counterpart' to the first filter cigarette in this country, ''"All-Over"'', as R. Færch's Factories released four years earlier. For decades, Prince was an unquestioned market leader, but in recent years the position has been challenged by the cheap brands like ''"LA"'', which have taken significant market shares. Nicotine
Nicotine is a naturally produced alkaloid in the nightshade family of plants (most predominantly in tobacco and ''Duboisia hopwoodii'') and is widely used recreationally as a stimulant and anxiolytic. As a pharmaceutical drug, it is used for smoking cessation to relieve withdrawal symptoms.
