Kevin Pouya (born December 20, 1994), known mononymously as Pouya, is an American rapper from Miami, Florida. Considered as a pioneer of the early underground rap scene that began on SoundCloud in 2012, along with discovering the well known hip-hop duo Suicideboys in their early career, Pouya has developed a long lasting core fanbase as an independent artist. Early life As a teenager, Pouya and his best friend Nicholas Voutsinas (known professionally as "Fat Nick") had a YouTube comedy channel called ''NICK AND POUYA SHOW''. While mostly being comedy sketches, the videos also served as mini vlogs for the friends. Travelling around the local neighborhoods in Miami, they would often feature other friends in the videos, including future rapper Denzel Curry and the group RVIDXR KLVN. Suicideboys (stylized as $uicideboy$) is an American hip hop duo from New Orleans, Louisiana, founded in 2014 by cousins Ruby da Cherry and Scrim (stylized as $crim). Via the music sharing platform SoundCloud, the duo rose to popularity for their abrasive, self-produced beats, as well as their harsh lyrical content and themes prominently featuring substance abuse and suicidal ideation. They own and operate their own label, G*59 Records, under which all of their music is distributed by Virgin Music Label & Artist Services. Initially rising to prominence alongside American rapper Pouya and their collective Buffet Boys, he is known for being a leading and important figure of the SoundCloud underground rap scene that began in 2012. Volumes (band)
Volumes (sometimes stylized as VOLUMES) is an American progressive metalcore band based in Los Angeles, California. The group consists of bassist Raad Soudani, vocalists Michael Barr and Myke Terry, and drummer Nick Ursich. Volumes debuted their first EP, ''The Concept of Dreaming'', in 2010. This was followed with their debut album, '' Via'' (2011), and their sophomore album, '' No Sleep'', in 2014. Both albums peaked at No. 1 on the iTunes Rock and Metal charts. Eric Whitney (born April 15, 1991), known professionally as Ghostemane or Eric Ghoste, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He has released eight solo albums and three collaborative albums under his Ghostemane moniker, primarily merging elements of heavy metal, hip hop and industrial music. Denzel Rae Don Curry (born February 16, 1995) is an American rapper and singer. Born and raised in Carol City, Florida, Curry started rapping while in the sixth grade and began working on his first mixtape in 2011. City Morgue is an American hip hop group from New York City which consists of rappers ZillaKami (Junius Rogers) and SosMula (Vinicius Sosa).
