Péter Bácsi
Péter Bácsi (born 15 May 1983) is an amateur Hungarian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the middleweight category. Two-time (2014 and 2018) world champion, he is also a three-time Olympian, and a four-time medalist in his division at the European Championships. Bacsi made his international debut at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where he competed in the 74 kg class. He first defeated United States' T.C. Dantzler, Armenia's Arsen Julfalakyan, and Russia's Varteres Samourgachev in the preliminary rounds, before losing out to Georgia's Manuchar Kvirkvelia in the semi-finals, by a technical fall. Because his opponent advanced further into the final match, Bacsi automatically qualified for the bronze medal bout, where he was defeated by France's Christophe Guénot, with a classification score of 1–3. Manuchar Kvirkvelia (Georgian: მანუჩარ კვირკველია; born on October 12, 1978) is a retired Georgian Greco-Roman wrestler and politician, an Olympic champion and a member of the Parliament of Georgia since 2008. Early life and family Manuchar Kvirkvelia was born on October 12, 1978 in Ozurgeti, Guria, a town in then-Soviet Georgia. He graduated in 2007 from the Vita Training University of Tbilisi, receiving a degree in finance. He is married to Inga Shanava and has six children, including three sons and three daughters. Aleksandr Kazakevič (born 12 June 1986 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian Greco-Roman wrestler. He participated in 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he competed at welterweight (66 kg). He lost to Mikhail Siamionau in his first match. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he moved up in weight class to middleweight (74 kg). He beat Peter Bacsi in his first match and Robert Rosengren in the quarterfinal before losing to Roman Vlasov in the semi-final. Because the person who beat him reached the final he was entered into the bronze medal repechage. In the repechage he beat Mark Madsen to win his bronze medal.
