Promotora Internacional De Debates - Perú
Promotora Internacional de Debates - Perú (English: International Promoter of Debates - Peru) is a non-profit civil association dedicated to the promotion of debate and academic competences as educational tools, as well as to encourage the development of soft skills in students and professionals. The institution conducts various debating conferences and competitions in Peru and abroad, the most popular being Model United Nations conferences organized in partnership with Ivy League colleges, such as the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University. Among these projects, PRIDE Peru has served as Host Team for the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference - Peru four times, and the Harvard National Model United Nations - Latin America in two consecutive occasions. La Molina is a district of the Lima Province in Peru, and one of the upscale districts that comprise the province of Lima. Sodalitium Christianae Vitae
Sodalitium Christianae Vitae (SCV), or Sodalitium of Christian Life is a Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right, according to the Code of Canon Law which governs the Latin Rite branch of the Catholic Church. It was founded in Lima, Peru, by Luis Fernando Figari on 8 December 1971. It acquired its present canonical form when Pope John Paul II gave his Pontifical approval on 8 July 1997. The Harvard National Model United Nations - Latin America (HNMUN-LA) is an annual traveling Model United Nations conference that is run by the Harvard International Relations Council and a local team from a host city. HNMUN-LA is the regional edition of Harvard National Model United Nations, considered the most prestigious MUN conference in the world.
