Nedelišće (; Kajkavian language, Kajkavian: ''Nedelišče'') is a village in Međimurje County, in northern Croatia, and the seat of the Municipalities of Croatia, Municipality of Nedelišće, which also includes 10 other villages in the south-western part of Međimurje County. Nedelišće itself is a suburban village located just outside the county seat, Čakovec, around 3 kilometres from the city's centre. Despite not being designated as either a city or a town, Nedelišće was the third most populated Settlement (Croatia), settlement in Međimurje County, after Čakovec and Prelog, Croatia, Prelog, with 4,320 inhabitants according to the 2011 census. Međimurje County
Međimurje County (; ; ) is a triangle-shaped Counties of Croatia, county in the northernmost part of Croatia, roughly corresponding to the historical and geographical region of Međimurje (region), Međimurje. It is the smallest Croatian county by size, and the second most densely populated after the Zagreb, City of Zagreb. The county's seat and main urban centre is Čakovec. The county borders Slovenia in the north-west and Hungary in the east; about 20 kilometres of Slovenian territory separate it from Austria. D208 is a state road in Međimurje region of Croatia connecting Trnovec and nearby Trnovec border crossing to Slovenia to D3 state road in Nedelišće near Čakovec, and the road also serves as a connecting road to the A4 motorway as it terminates near Čakovec interchange via the D3. Gornji Kuršanec
Gornji Kuršanec () is a village in Međimurje County, Croatia. It is part of the municipality of Nedelišće and had a population of 793 in the 2011 census. The village is located close to the Drava River and just over 3 kilometres from the centre of Varaždin, the county seat of Varaždin County. The D3 state road goes through the village, providing the main traffic connection between Varaždin and Čakovec, the county seat of Međimurje County. The railroad between the two cities also goes through the village. Also close to the village is Lake Varaždin, a reservoir lake on the Drava River. Gornji Hrašćan
Gornji Hrašćan () is a village in Međimurje County in northern Croatia. It is located six kilometres west from the county seat Čakovec, approximately halfway between the city and the Croatian-Slovenian border-crossing point in Trnovec. The village is part of the municipality of Nedelišće and its population in the 2011 census was 910. The name Hrašćan is derived from ''hrast'', the Croatian word for oak, while ''gornji'' means ''upper'' and is included in the name to distinguish the village from Donji Hrašćan, a smaller village also located in Međimurje. Dražen Ladić, former goalkeeper of the Croatia national football team and winner of the bronze medal at the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France, grew up in the village. In 2008, a memorial-cross was erected to honour those killed by the Yugoslav Partisans in 1945. D3 is a state road in western parts of Croatia connecting Rijeka on the Adriatic Sea, Adriatic coast to Zagreb, Karlovac and Varaždin, as well as to the Goričan border crossing to Hungary.
