Mason Adams
Mason Adams (February 26, 1919 – April 26, 2005) was an American character actor and voiceover artist. From the late 1940s until the early 1970s, he was heard in numerous radio programs and voiceovers for countless television commercials, the latter of which he resumed in the 1980s and 1990s. In the early '70s, he moved into acting and from 1977 to 1983 held perhaps his best-known role, that of Managing Editor Charlie Hume on ''Lou Grant''. He also acted in numerous other television and movie roles, most prominently '' Omen III: The Final Conflict'' (1981) and '' F/X'' (1986). Early life Adams was born in Brooklyn, New York. He earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in theatre arts and speech, and also attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison, studying theater arts. Dentyne
Dentyne () is a brand of chewing gum available in several countries globally. It is owned by Mondelēz International. In 1899, a New York City druggist Franklin V. Canning formulated a chewing gum which he promoted as an aid to oral hygiene. "To prevent decay, To sweeten the breath, To keep teeth white," read the package. Mr. Canning called his new gum Dentyne which is a combination of the words "dental" and "hygiene" (and also sounds like ''dentine'' as some people pronounce that word). In 1916 the brand was sold to the American Chicle Company. By the 1930s, Dentyne was produced by the Adams Gum Company. Adams was one of the companies that made up the American Chicle Company. Kix (cereal)
Kix (stylized as KiX) is an American brand of breakfast cereal introduced in 1937 by the General Mills company of Golden Valley, Minnesota. The product is an extruded, expanded puffed-grain cereal made with cornmeal. Products General Mills introduced Berry Berry Kix in 1992 and Honey Kix in 2009. In Original Kix, total sugars are about 10% by weight, which is about 3 grams of sugar per serving. Honey Kix has 6 grams, Berry Berry Kix has 7 grams. Production The grain is processed and expanded: water is added and the corn is pulverized. Kix are cooked in the ''extruder'', when the dough is formed into the desired shape by extrusion through a die. It was the first cereal to be manufactured using this process. A Cadbury Creme Egg is a chocolate confection produced in the shape of an egg, originating from the British chocolatier Fry's in 1963 before being renamed by Cadbury in 1971. The product consists of a thick chocolate shell containing an enzymatically-derived sweet white and yellow filling that resembles fondant.
