Manoj–Gyan
Manoj–Gyan was an Indian musical duo consisting of composers Manoj Bhatnagar and Gyan Varma. In the 1980s, the two collaboratively composed music for a few Hindi-language as well as Tamil-language films. Manoj hails from the state of Uttar Pradesh, while Gyan is from Punjab. About In the 1980s the duo ended up composing for movies like Oomai Vizhigal, Senthoora Poove and Inaindha Kaigal, and these movies had several hit songs. In particular, the song "Tholvi Nilayena Ninaithal" sung by P B Srinivas in the movie Oomai Vizhigal became a runaway hit. The song went on to assume the role of an unofficial anthem of sorts for the LTTE in Sri Lanka. The two split up around 1989. Following the split, Gyan Verma scored music for a couple of films on his own including Inaindha Kaigal and Sathya Vaakku. ''Endrendrum Kadhal'' () is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written, directed and co-produced by Manoj Bhatnagar. The film stars Vijay and Rambha with Raghuvaran, Nizhalgal Ravi, Bhanupriya, Radha Ravi, Charle, and Dhamu in other pivotal roles. Veteran actor M. N. Nambiar also played a supporting role, while Manoj Bhatnagar also composed the film's music. The film open on 5 March 1999 to positive reviews but performed average at the box office. The film saw Vijay and Rambha sharing the screen for the 2nd time after the success of '' Ninaithen Vandhai'' (1998). ''Inaindha Kaigal'' () is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by N. K. Viswanathan. The film stars Ramki, C. Arunpandian, Nirosha and Sindhu, with Nassar, Senthil, Srividya, Murali Kumar and Prabhakaran playing supporting roles. The film, produced by Aabavanan who also wrote the script and lyrics, had musical score by Gyan Varma and was released on 2 August 1990.
