Parisam Pottachu
''Parisam Pottachu'' is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Shozharajan and written by Es. N. Ravi, starring Pandiyan, Madhuri and Ranjini. It was released on 18 September 1987. Plot A girl becomes insane after her lover drowned. Ramu, the son-in-law of the village VIP, has a soft corner for her. When he tries to find who is responsible for her pregnancy, she is shocked. Since Ramu's wife is barren, the insane girl becomes a surrogate mother, but later drowns in the sea. Pandiyan (5 January 1959 – 10 January 2008) was an Indian actor and politician who acted in lead roles in about 75 Tamil films from 1983 to 1992 and supporting roles from 1993 to 2001. Career Pandiyan was selling bangles in his family owned jewellery shop in Madurai, India when he was spotted by director Bharathiraja who offered him the lead role in the film ''Mann Vasanai'' (1983) which became a box-office hit. Following the success, Pandiyan was cast in over 75 films. Pandiyan joined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in 2001. Sasha Selvaraj, better known by her stage name Ranjini, is a Singaporean actress known for her roles in Tamil, Malayalam films. She also did few Telugu films. She was the leading actress from 1985 to 1992. Ranjini made her debut in the 1985 Tamil film ''Muthal Mariyathai'' directed by Bharathiraja. Manoj–Gyan
Manoj–Gyan was an Indian musical duo consisting of composers Manoj Bhatnagar and Gyan Varma. In the 1980s, the two collaboratively composed music for a few Hindi-language as well as Tamil-language films. Manoj hails from the state of Uttar Pradesh, while Gyan is from Punjab. About In the 1980s the duo ended up composing for movies like Oomai Vizhigal, Senthoora Poove and Inaindha Kaigal, and these movies had several hit songs. In particular, the song "Tholvi Nilayena Ninaithal" sung by P B Srinivas in the movie Oomai Vizhigal became a runaway hit. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Gangai Amaran is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, writer, film director and actor in Tamil films. Personal life Gangai Amaran was born in Pannaipuram in Theni district, Tamil Nadu in December 1947, as the youngest son of Daniel Ramaswamy and Chinnathayi. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet.
