Muistathan
Finland was represented by Päivi Paunu and Kim Floor, with the song "Muistathan", at the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 25 March in Edinburgh. Before Eurovision National final The Finnish national final was held on 29th January at the YLE TV Studios in Helsinki, hosted by Aarre Elo. The winner was chosen by postcard voting. The results were announced on 5th February. At Eurovision On the night of the final Päivi Paunu and Kim Floor performed 10th in the running order, following Malta and preceding Austria. Paunu and Kim Floor performed in the 1972 Eurovision contest in the United Kingdom with the song "Muistathan" ("I Hope You Remember"). Katri Helena
Katri Helena Kalaoja (née Koistinen, born 17 August 1945) is a Finnish singer. Career Katri Helena released her first songs in 1963 and has since sold over 630,000 certified records, which makes her the second-best-selling female soloist in Finland behind Madonna and places her also among the top 20 best-selling music artists in the Finnish market. She has represented Finland twice in the Eurovision Song Contest: in 1979 with her song " Katson sineen taivaan" and in 1993 with " Tule luo". Kirka
Kirill "Kirka" Babitzin (22 September 1950 – 31 January 2007) was one of the most commercially successful Finnish musicians. His career spanned from the late 1960s until his death in 2007. Previously associated with Ilkka Lipsanen's The Islanders band, Kirka went on to record a wide array of rock and pop music. Viktor Savvich Klimenko (born 24 November 1942) is a singer who made himself known as the "Singing Cossack". Biography Klimenko was born in Karelia, to a Russian Kuban Cossack father, Savva Klimenko, and a Russian mother, Olga Glotova. A few years after his birth, his family moved to Finland. There, he became a musician and appeared in several films, mostly appearing as himself.
