Kim Floor
Kim Floor (born 14 March 1948 in Porvoo) is a Finnish singer, actor and television host. Päivi Paunu and Kim Floor represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972 with the song "Muistathan" ("I Hope You Remember"). Marion Rung
Marion Rung (born 7 December 1945 in Helsinki) is a Finnish pop singer. She is known for having represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1962 and 1973. Her 1962 Eurovision song placed 7th, and in 1973, she managed to bring Finland's second best result in the contest until 2006 by finishing in 6th place. She also won the Grand Prix of the Sopot International Song Festival in 1974 and the Intervision Song Contest 1980 with "Where is the Love." Life Rung started her career in 1961, when she placed second in a Finnish song contest. The success gave her a chance to record her first single ''Brigitte Bardot''. Her most famous schlagers include " Tipi-tii", "El Bimbo" and " Eviva Espanja." In the 1970s, she also became well known in Germany. She continued her career, and in 2000, she was one fourth of the Leidit lavalla line-up with Katri Helena, Paula Koivuniemi, and Lea Laven. Finland was represented by Marion Rung, with the song "Tom Tom Tom", at the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 7 April in Luxembourg. Before Eurovision National final The Finnish national final was held on February 3 at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki. The show was hosted by Apeli Halinen. The winner was chosen by a professional jury consisting of ten members. Each juror awarded 1 to 10 points for each song. The best and worst points received by each song were ignored in the voting. Scoreboard Highest and lowest score received by each song were ignored and they are strikethrough. The winning song "Tom Tom Tom" was performed in Finnish in the national selection but translated into English for the international Song Contest. The English lyrics were written by Bob Barratt. Porvoo
Porvoo (; sv, Borgå ; la, Borgoa) is a city and a municipality in the Uusimaa region of Finland, situated on the southern coast about east of the city border of Helsinki and about from the city centre.
