Miss Nevada Teen USA
The Miss Nevada Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Nevada in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Contestants compete in interview, active wear, and evening gown. Winners have most commonly come from Las Vegas since the pageant began in 1983. Janae McIntosh of Las Vegas was crowned Miss Nevada Teen USA 2022 on May 15, 2022 at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas. She will represent Nevada for the title of Miss Teen USA 2022. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. Miss Teen USA 2017
Miss Teen USA 2017 was the 35th Miss Teen USA pageant held at the Phoenix Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona on July 29, 2017. Karlie Hay of Texas crowned her successor, Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff of Missouri at the end of the event. The pageant was hosted by celebrity personal trainer and author Heidi Powell and E! correspondent Erin Lim, while Mexican singer Jorge Blanco performed. It was the first time the pageant was held in Arizona and the first to broadcast in high dynamic range (HDR) color, virtual reality and on PlayStation consoles. This was the final year that Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants have held separately, due to scheduling changes of the succeeding year's pageant that Dominguez-Heithoff would be the shortest reigning titleholders in the pageant, which held for nine months and 19 days. Miss Teen USA 2007
Miss Teen USA 2007, the 25th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held on August 24, 2007 in Pasadena, California. At the conclusion of the final night of the competition Hilary Cruz of Colorado was crowned Miss Teen USA 2007 by outgoing titleholder Katie Blair of Montana. The event was hosted by Mario Lopez, who also hosted Miss Teen USA 1998 and Miss Teen USA 2003. In 2007 he also hosted the Miss America and Miss Universe pageants. The pageant was broadcast on NBC at 8:00 p.m. EST, rather than at 9:00 p.m. EST. To date, it was the final Miss Teen USA pageant to be televised on broadcast television due to NBC failing to renew its contract. Miss Teen USA 2008
Miss Teen USA 2008, the 26th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held on August 16, 2008 at Grand Ballroom in the Atlantis Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas. This was the first Miss Teen USA pageant that was not televised, after then-Miss Universe Organization broadcast partner NBC failed to renew its contract, and it was also the first Miss Teen USA pageant broadcasting only online by Ustream and the first held outside the United States. Miss Teen USA 2009, the 27th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held at the Imperial Ballroom, Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, The Bahamas on July 31, 2009. For the first time since 1986, the Miss Teen USA pageant was held earlier than the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Teen USA 2008, Stevi Perry of Arkansas, crowned Stormi Henley of Tennessee as her successor.
