Miss Teen USA 2014, the 32nd Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in Nassau, Bahamas on August 2, 2014 and was hosted by Australian journalist Karl Jeno Schmid and Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady. Cassidy Wolf of California crowned her successor K. Lee Graham of South Carolina at the end of the event. Cassidy Marie Wolf (born July 5, 1994) is an American TV host, model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Teen USA 2013. Pageants While attending Great Oak High School in Temecula, she was crowned Miss Greater San Diego Teen USA. Wolf was crowned Miss California Teen USA in 2013, and later the same year Miss Teen USA 2013 on August 10, 2013, in The Bahamas. Wolf was crowned the 31st Miss Teen USA. She was first Runner-Up at Miss California Teen USA 2012. Victim of sextortion Wolf was a victim of sextortion, after photographs of her were hacked and used in an attempt to blackmail her. The FBI ran a probe after Wolf reported a threatening email demanding a 'special performance' for the hacker, who she suspected to be Jared James Abrahams, her former high school classmate. Miss California Teen USA
The Miss California Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of California in the Miss Teen USA pageant. It was formed in 1983. This pageant is part of the Miss USA Organization, owned by Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart. California is in the top five most successful states at Miss Teen USA in terms of number and value of placements. Miss California een USA titleholders have been invited to red-carpet movie premieres, such as that for '' Santa Clause 3'' attended by Kylee Lin, and ''She's the Man'', attended by Jessica Powell. The current titleholder is Cassidy Hill of Newport Beach, who is crowned on June 5, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. Miss Alabama Teen USA
The Miss Alabama Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Alabama in the Miss Teen USA pageant and the name of the title held by that winner. Alabama's success at Miss Teen USA has improved in recent years, with eight teens making the cut, although none have placed higher than 4th runner-up until 2016. That placement went to Anna Mingus, who also won Miss Congeniality, Alabama's only special award until Erin Snow won Miss Photogenic in 2016. Mingus later took the title Miss Alabama USA in 1995, and is one of only three Alabama teens to win a Miss USA state title. Until 2010 Miss and Teen Alabama was directed by the Premier Pageants group, and was the first state to be taken under this directorate. Miss Wisconsin Teen USA
The Miss Wisconsin Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Wisconsin in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Wisconsin has placed at Miss Teen-USA on six occasions. The first placement was in 1984, when Adrianne Hazelwood made the ten semi-finalists, and then endured an eighteen-year dry spell until Vanessa Semrow won the Miss Teen USA crown in 2002. Then lastly with two consecutive semi-final placements with Katherine (Kate) Patrice Redeker (2013) and Patience Ann Vallier (2014), followed by Shreya Gundelly in 2021 and her sister Sage Gundelly in 2022. Miss West Virginia Teen USA
The Miss West Virginia Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of West Virginia in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is independently conducted and produced by Sanders & Associates, Inc., dba- Pageant Associates based in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Despite a relatively strong start in the 1980s, with two semi-finals finishes, no Miss West Virginia Teen USA placed from 1988 to 2005, when Andrea Turner placed 2nd runner-up to Allie LaForce of Ohio. After this, West Virginia had more success, with more placements in 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018. The Miss Texas Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Texas in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is part of the Miss USA organization, owned by Texas native Crystle Stewart, who was Miss USA for 2008. Texas is in the top 5 most successful states at Miss Teen USA in terms of number and value of placements. Alongside Oregon they are the only two states to have produced three winners. Miss Oklahoma Teen USA
The Miss Oklahoma Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Oklahoma in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is directed by Vanbros and Associates, headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. In 1997, Oklahoma joined the Vanbros group of state pageants for the Miss USA and Teen USA system. The Miss Michigan Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Michigan in the Miss Teen USA pageant and the name of the title held by that winner. This pageant is produced by Proctor Productions, including Melissa Pitchford who was Miss Ohio USA 1990. Miss Massachusetts Teen USA
Massachusetts has had a number of semi-finalist placings but is not one of the most successful states at Miss Teen USA. Their best placement was in 2001, when Marianna Zaslavsky placed 2nd runner-up to Marissa Whitley. The most notable Miss Massachusetts Teen USA is Susie Castillo, who went on to win the Miss Massachusetts USA and Miss USA crowns. She is one of three Massachusetts teens to win the respective Miss title. One other Teen also competed at Miss America. The Miss Indiana Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Indiana in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is currently produced by CROWN MOXIE, LLC headed by JScot Reid. It was formerly produced by MOXIE Media Productions and Sanders & Associates based in Buckhannon, West Virginia before MOXIE Media Productions. Indiana had a slow start at Miss Teen USA, and did not place until 1991. That placement became the first of a four-year streak, which included three semi-finalist and one 1st runner-up placings. Six Indiana teens have gone on to win the Miss Indiana USA crown, more than most other states. The most successful of these, Kelly Lloyd, who achieved Indiana's highest ever Miss Teen USA placement also went on to earn one of Miss Indiana USA's highest placements in 2002. Miss Delaware Teen USA
The Miss Delaware Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Delaware in the Miss Teen USA pageant. It was formerly directed by Crown Productions from 1993 to 2007, then by D&D Productions from 2007 to 2018. CW Productions became the new directors for the pageant starting in 2019. In 2020, CW Productions was terminated. The license to produce the 2021 state pageants was awarded to V&M Productions, LLC into the directorship of Vincenza Carrieri-Russo. This is only the second time that the pageant is produced by a former Miss Delaware USA.
