Mille Haslev Nordbye
Mille Haslev Nordbye (born March 6, 2001) is a Norwegian curler from Lillehammer. She currently plays second on the Norwegian women's curling team, skipped by Marianne Rørvik. Career Nordbye joined the Norwegian junior women's curling team as the second for the 2016–17 season. In her second season with the team, skipped by Maia Ramsfjell, they finished third at the 2018 World Junior B Curling Championships. This qualified them for the 2018 World Junior Curling Championships, where they were able to reach the playoffs with a 5–4 record. The team then lost in the semifinal and bronze medal game, settling for fourth place. They ended the season by winning the 2018 Norwegian Women's Curling Championship. Because of their high placement at the 2018 championship, the team earned direct qualification into the 2019 World Junior Curling Championships. Eirin Mesloe (born November 18, 2000) is a Norwegian curler from Oppdal. She currently skips the Norwegian junior women's curling team. Career Mesloe joined the Norwegian junior women's curling team as the alternate for the 2017–18 season. In her first season with the team, skipped by Maia Ramsfjell, they finished third at the 2018 World Junior B Curling Championships. This qualified them for the 2018 World Junior Curling Championships, where they were able to reach the playoffs with a 5–4 record. 2022 World Women's Curling Championship
The 2022 World Women's Curling Championship (branded as the 2022 BKT Tires & OK Tire World Women's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held from March 19 to 27 at the CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Prince George was originally chosen to host the 2020 World Women's Curling Championship, but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The format for the Championship returned to a 13 team round robin opposed to the 14 teams qualified for the 2021 World Women's Curling Championship. 2022 World Qualification Event
The 2022 World Qualification Event for the World Curling Championships was held from January 18 to 22 at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland. The competition originally consisted of sixteen teams divided evenly into men's and women's divisions. The Brazilian Men's Team and the Kazakh Women's Team were removed from the competition schedule days before the tournament due to travel complications, leaving the competition with fourteen teams divided evenly into each division. The 2021 European Curling Championships were held in September and November 2021, to qualify European curling teams for the 2022 World Curling Championships and World Qualification Event. The A and B division competitions were held from November 20 to 27 in Lillehammer, Norway. The C division competition was held from September 12 to 17 in Geneva, Switzerland.
