Luke Adam
Luke Adam (born June 18, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is currently playing with the Straubing Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Buffalo Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets. Adam was drafted by Buffalo in the second round, 44th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Adam began his major junior hockey career with the St. John's Fog Devils of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). He played there for two seasons before being drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. The Fog Devils moved to Montreal to become the Montreal Juniors before the 2008–09 season. Montreal Junior Hockey Club
The Montreal Junior Hockey Club ('' French: Le Club de Hockey Junior de Montréal'') was a junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The team was based out of the Verdun Auditorium, in Verdun, Quebec, Canada. The St. John's Fog Devils franchise relocated at the conclusion of the 2007–08 QMJHL season. The team's colours were maroon and white, similar to the Montreal Maroons. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League approved the sale of the Juniors to a group led by former NHL Defensemen Joel Bouchard who moved the team to Boisbriand, Quebec for the 2011–12 season. Jerry Vincent D'Amigo (born February 19, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey right winger currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played with Löwen Frankfurt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). D'Amigo was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the sixth round, 158th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Amateur D'Amigo graduated from Johnson City High School in 2009 in Johnson City, New York, prior to attending college. D'Amigo played college ice hockey for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) of the ECAC conference in the NCAA. He finished fifth nationally in points per game by a rookie (0.97), led RPI in game-winning goals and finished second on the team in short-handed goals. The Rochester Americans (colloquially known as the Amerks) are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League; the team is an owned and operated affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team. 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships (''2010 WJHC''), was the 34th edition of Ice Hockey World Junior Championship. The tournament was hosted by Saskatoon and Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, from December 26, 2009, to January 5, 2010. Saskatoon had hosted the tournament once before, in 1991. The medal round, as well as all Canada's preliminary round games, took place in Saskatoon at the Credit Union Centre. The arena underwent renovations and upgrades before the 2010 tournament, including an increase in capacity. Other games were played at the Brandt Centre in Regina, which also received upgrades.
