Kurigram Express (Train no. 797-798) is a non-stop intercity train that runs between Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh) and the northern Kurigram District. This train provides a more effective connection between the capital and northern Bengal. History On October 16, 2019, prime minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated this train service by video conference. Benapole Express
Benapole Express (Train no. 795-796) is a semi non-stop intercity train which runs between Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh) and Benapole. The train connects the capital to an important Land port of Bangladesh. History There was no train service directly from Benapole to Dhaka. So Bangladesh government had decided to operate a new intercity train on Dhaka-Benapole route as the existing train makes 14 stops, taking the total travel time to 10 to 12 hours. In order to reach Dhaka, the passengers of India are facing extreme suffering. The only road to travel depends on the bus. This breakthrough move saves at least 3 to 4 hours as Benapole Express is reaching its destination within 7–8 hours daily. The Panchagarh Express (Train no. 793-794) is a Semi non-stop intercity train which runs between Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh) and the most northern Panchagarh District. Banalata Express
The Banalata Express is a Bangladeshi Intercity train (Train no. 791/792) which runs between Chapainawabganj and Dhaka under Bangladesh Railway. History A new passenger train with modern facilities had started serving people to connect the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka with its northern city of Rajshahi on 25 April 2019. After few days this train route extended up to Chapainawabganj. Now its running Chapainawabganj-Rajashahi to Dhaka. The train has modern facilities like bio-toilet, recliner chair, Wi-Fi connections, LED display, and save at least one and a half hour journey time than those of the existing three express trains plying between Dhaka and Rajshahi.
