Upaban Express
Upaban Express ( bn, উপবন এক্সপ্রেস) is an intercity train running from Dhaka to Sylhet under Bangladesh Railway. Upaban Express was inaugurated on 4 May 1988. Moulvibazar ( bn, মৌলভীবাজার) is a town in north-eastern Bangladesh just south of Sylhet. It is the capital of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila and Moulvibazar District, and is located on the banks of the Manu River, Tripura, Manu River. The town has a high population density. History In 1771, Moulvi Syed Qudratullah established a bazaar near the banks of the Manu River, Tripura, Manu River using his zamindari land. He started importing edible goods, such as fruits and vegetables opening up opportunities for people to purchase as well as sell. The location allowed easy access through river and land transport. The bazaar became the headquarters of South Sylhet subdivision in 1882. Bhairab Bazar Junction railway station is a railway junction located in Bhairab, Kishoreganj District, Bangladesh. At least 3000 passengers use this railway junction regularly. Kamalapur Railway Station, officially known as Dhaka Railway Station, is the central railway station in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh. It is the largest station and the busiest infrastructure for transportation in the country that acts as a gateway of the country's capital. It is also considered to be one of the most modern and striking buildings in the decade of its establishment. It was opened on 1 May 1968. It was built during the Pakistan period but its railway line was built during the British Indian period.
