Lee Teng (Singapore)
Lee Teng () is a television host based in Singapore and on contract basis with Left Profile. Lee won the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste award and the Best Programme Host twice at the Star Awards. In 2017, he won an Asian Television Awards for Best Current Affairs Presenter category. Thereafter, he was nominated for awards but has not won any since. Early life Lee was born in Taiwan and went to Singapore in primary school. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in accountancy. Lee, however, did not serve his national duties in both conscription in Taiwan and National Service in Singapore despite having citizenship and permanent residency in both countries. Career Lee was recruited by Mediacorp after winning the first runner-up in a talent show, ''SuperHost''. Star Awards 2018 (also SA2018SG, Chinese: 红星大奖2018) is a television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. The Post Party and Ceremony Awards was broadcast live on 22 April 2018. A total of 15 awards were handed out during the ceremony, among which the Special Achievement Award, an award given out to a celebrity in recognition to meritorious contribution, returned after a 15-year absence, with the award last presented in 2003, in the place of All-Time Favourite Artiste, which was not presented this year, and the third ceremony overall, after 2007 and 2013.
