Karol Kłos
Karol Kłos (born 8 August 1989) is a Polish professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Poland men's national volleyball team, Poland national team, a participant in the Olympic Games 2016 Summer Olympics, Rio 2016, and the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, 2014 World Champion. At the professional club level, he plays for Skra Bełchatów, PGE Skra Bełchatów. Personal life On 15 July 2017, he married Aleksandra Dudzicka. He is a graduate of the Miguel de Cervantes Liceum in Warsaw. Career Clubs Kłos moved to Skra Bełchatów in 2010. He signed a new contract with Skra towards the end of the 2014/2015 season. On 27 May 2014 his team won the 2013–14 PlusLiga, Polish Championship after final matches against Resovia (volleyball), Asseco Resovia. That was his second national title. Men's European Volleyball Championship
The Men's European Volleyball Championship (''EuroVolley'') is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1975 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Italy, which won its seventh title at the 2021 tournament. History The first tournament was held in 1948 with participation of six national teams. Being only participant from Eastern Europe, Czechoslovakia captured gold. The teams from Eastern Europe dominated at the tournament for next four decades. The Polish Men's Volleyball SuperCup is an annual competition for volleyball clubs in Poland played by the PlusLiga champions and Polish Cup winners. It is overseen by the Polish Volleyball Federation ( pl, Polski Związek Piłki Siatkowej) and the Professional Volleyball League SA ( pl, Profesjonalna Liga Piłki Siatkowej S.A.). Resovia, officially known for sponsorship reasons as Asseco Resovia, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Rzeszów in southeastern Poland, founded in 1937. They compete in the Polish PlusLiga. The club has won seven Polish Champion titles, and three Polish Cups. They won four league titles in the 1970s, and the first title in the 21st century in 2012, which put an end to Skra Bełchatów's dominance in the PlusLiga which lasted for 7 consecutive seasons.
