Inish Times
The ''Inish Times'' is a local Irish newspaper based in Buncrana in Donegal's Inishowen peninsula. It serves the Inishowen area and is also sold in nearby areas such as Derry and Letterkenny. The paper, which is published each Tuesday, was first started in 1999 and is now part of the River Media group of publications which include the ''Letterkenny Post'' and the '' Donegal Post''. The editor, Catriona Gallen, was at the helm at the paper's relaunch in 2010. The sports section is edited by Johnny Craig who received a Football Association of Ireland Communications Award in 2011 for Best Regional Coverage. Buncrana
Buncrana ( ; ) is a town in County Donegal, Ireland. It is beside Lough Swilly on the Inishowen peninsula, northwest of Derry and north of Letterkenny. In the 2016 census, the population was 6,785 making it the second most populous town in County Donegal, after Letterkenny, and the largest in Inishowen. Buncrana is the historic home of the O'Doherty family, O'Doherty clan and originally developed around the defensive tower known as O'Doherty's Keep at the mouth of the River Crana. The town moved to its present location just south of the River Crana when George Vaughan built the main street in 1718. The ''Letterkenny Post'' (formerly the ''Letterkenny Leader'') is a freesheet newspaper published by Iconic Newspapers in Letterkenny, County Donegal. It was the first paper from River Media. The newspaper specialises in property, motoring, entertainment, farming and fashion. Its offices are located at the Dry Arch Business Park, Bonagee. The paper also publishes a free digital copy of the paper through its website. History It was published weekly from 1 September 2005 with close to €700,000 being invested in its weekly publication. The ''Donegal Post'' is a local weekly regional newspaper published in County Donegal, Ireland. When the paper was first launched by River Media in June 2006, it served the area of south County Donegal, west County Fermanagh, north County Leitrim and north County Sligo. It was soon joined by sister papers in Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan and Wicklow which have all since closed down. The Rivermedia directors have cited the effects of the current economic recession as the main problem leading to the closures. Mass Media In County Donegal
Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics.
