Hassan Abdal
Hasan Abdal (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ur, ), is a city in the Attock District of Punjab (Pakistan), Punjab Province in Pakistan, located 40 km northwest of the country's capital city, Islamabad. Hassan Abdal is the headquarters of Hasan Abdal Tehsil (sub-district). As home of the Gurdwara Panja Sahib, one of the most sacred sites in Sikhism, Hasan Abdal is an important pilgrimage destination. The city is also notable for its association with the 16th century Mughal Emperor Akbar - several monuments in the town date to the Akbar period, including the Mughal Garden Wah, Mughal Gardens of Wah, Hakimon ka Maqbara, and the Tomb of Lala Rukh. The M-1 motorway or the Islamabad–Peshawar Motorway ( ur, ) is an east–west motorway in Pakistan, connecting Peshawar to Islamabad–Rawalpindi. The motorway was constructed during President Pervez Musharraf's rule at a cost of Rs. 13 billion, and was opened in October 2007. It spans , with in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in Punjab. Hakimon Ka Maqbara
Hakim's Tomb ( ur, ; ''"Hakeemon ka Maqbara"'') is a 16th-century tomb located in the city of Hasan Abdal, Pakistan, across from the Gurdwara Panja Sahib. The tomb complex also includes the Tomb of Lala Rukh, traditionally attributed to a Mughal princess.
