Gregers Arndal-Lauritzen
Gregers Arndal-Lauritzen (; born 3 May 1998) is a Danish footballer who plays as a left-back for Danish 1st Division club Hillerød. Club career Arndal-Lauritzen started playing for BK Søllerød-Vedbæk before signing a youth contract with Brøndby IF, joining the club's under-14 team. On 20 July 2017, Arndal-Lauritzen first appeared on the first-team bench during the 2017–18 season, in a 1–2 UEFA Europa League qualifier loss to Finnish club VPS. On 21 September 2017, he made his first appearance for Brøndby, starting in the Danish Cup match against Ledøje-Smørum Fodbold, which Brøndby won 5–1. On 28 December 2017, Arndal-Lauritzen moved to second division club HB Køge on loan until the end of the 2017–18 season. He subsequently stated that he "came to play" and needed playing time in order to evolve as a player. 2017–18 Danish Superliga
The 2017–18 Danish Superliga season was the 28th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. Copenhagen are the defending champions. Teams Esbjerg fB finished as loser in the relegation play-offs in the 2016–17 season and was relegated to the 2017–18 1st Division along with Viborg FF who lost their relegation play-off as well. The relegated teams were replaced by 2016–17 1st Division champions Hobro IK (returned after one year of absence) and 3rd-place finisher FC Helsingør (returned to the top division for the first time since the 1936–37 season), who defeated Viborg FF in the two legged play-off finals. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. The number of promoted and relegated clubs has fluctuated over the years. The 2017–18 Danish 1st Division season was the 22nd season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion, the runners-up and the third placed team are promoted to the 2018–19 Danish Superliga. The teams in 11th and 12th places are relegated to the 2018–19 Danish 2nd Divisions. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons.
